Kingdom Hearts II voice actor line-up

Post by Durandal »

The list.

Haley Joel Osment plays Sora.
David Gallagher plays Riku.
Hayden Panettiere Kairi.
Jesse McCartney plays Roxas, Sora's doppelganger.
Christopher Lee plays ... well it doesn't say. But who gives a shit? It's Christopher Lee.
Steve Burton plays Cloud.
Rachael Leigh Cook plays Tifa.
Mena Suvari plays Aeris.
Hedy Buress plays Yuna.
Tara Strong plays Rikku.
Gwendoline Yeo plays Paine.
Ming-Na plays Mulan.
James Woods plays Hades.
Zach Braff plays Chicken Little.

I have a massive crush on Rachel Leigh Cook. That is all.

It's worth buying for Chris Lee. I wonder if he'll be a vampire character...

I don't see any David Warner, are they not having the MCP from Tron voiced?

If you RTFA, it's due on March 26 in the U.S. (it didn't list a European date, though).

That's not a full list yet. The Japanese cast list was ridiculously long and did include a voiced MCP, Tron, and Sark.

The character Christopher Lee is playing is named DiZ. There's just one thing I want to know though, who will be voicing Sephiroth? Will Lance Bass be making a return or will they get some else, someone not affliated with a boy band? Not that Lance wasn't good as Sephiroth, but considering the limited dialogue of the character just about anyone could fill his shoes.

Actually, I thought James Woods was pretty damned good as Hades. Best part of that movie.

This sounds really good. I actually never played the original Kingdom Hearts, maybe I should pick it up. I think Best Buy has it cheap.

I am so incredibly excited for this game to come out, and I had no idea it was coming this soon!

I hope they give him a bigger role in this one.

20$ :)

I just bought a new copy, my old died somehow. It's actually in my Ps2 right now.

*turns on Ps2*

Now I'm not going to get any work done.

Cool! I didn't even know he was in that movie. I just liked that bit from Family Guy. :)

If it's not evident from my avatar and sig, I will personally become highly annoyed at any failure to hear Warner's synthesized voice saying "End of line". He's had at least voice roles in nearly every sci-fi series and cartoon and videogame for the past fifteen years, for good reason.

Dammit man, don't jinx it!

Besides don't you have a line up of thirty others before this particular one? :P

As for me, this or FFXII will be the new addiction...hopefully this will come out first and everything I've read from people who played the Japanese version have said this one is very nice. Interesting story as well.

Is completing the first game mandatory? I've not played the first really, so is KH2 tied with the original's plot?

Yes it is. You might be very confused if you don't play the first one. That and the GBA game too.

At least the first one...the GBA is not manadatory but it provides a few of the missing parts between the transition.

True, for Chain of Memories, you might as well go to Gamefaqs and read the script. After finishing KH1 of course.

More than a few I think. Sora's maybe not so much, but it does explain quite a bit where Riku is concerned.

More than that actually. I just bought Tales of Legendia and Suikoden Tactics a while ago, and I have my sights set on Suikoden V as well as KH2.

Too bad you have to wait until late Summer for FFXII

Yeah, he's in the second game too. Although I hear he's significantly easier, if not more endurant.

Is the GBA KH actually worth it? I'm a big fan on KH, but I've always been told that Chain of Memories sucks. I never bought it because of that. With the second one closing, I'm feeling guilty for not playing it. Should I just read the script? Or would it be worthwhile to play it?

Well I simply read the script and I feel glad I didn't buy it. The story is basically a retread of KH1 with only the organization, Namine and Riku's growth as a character as new plot elements. I can't wait for KH2 though.

I can't believe I'd fall for a game with such a heavy amount of Disney material. It's my dirty little secret.
