Wedge Antilles is of course still with us- he apparently was offered the role of Captain Antilles in RotS, but turned it down. Weird.
why would they offer Dennis Lawson the role of a diffrent Antilles character, it would confuse more of the casual SW fans then they are now

anyways

fun/fantasy movies existed before the overrated Star Wars came out. What made it seem 'less dark' was the sheer goofy aspect of it: two robots modeled on Laurel & Hardy, and a smartass outlaw with bigfoot co-pilot and their hotrod pizza-shaped ship, and they were sucked aboard a giant Disco Ball. -adw1
Someone asked me yesterday if Dracula met Saruman and there was a fight, who would win. I just looked at this man. What an idiotic thing to say. I mean really, it was half-witted. - Christopher Lee

How Borg Cube vs. Death Star really went.

"Blast then next ship you see coming around that moon"

"Yes my lord"

Enter Borg ship

BOOM!

I just heard about his death.

I had no idea he had been blacklisted during the McCarthy era and "exiled" to London. All because he belonged to an acting group that fell under suspicion. Sad. At least he will be remembered fondly as an actor for his role in Star Wars and not someone who was blacklisted by McCarthy. Poetic Justice at its finest.
