So many good looking RTS games, but for every title there seem to be at least 2 or 3 clones, heh. Still, some interesting ones in there (and some I know I'll have to get).
Couple good RTS games too, many more mmo's than I expected.

And on the subject of Sam and Max 2, SWEET!

Spellforce 2 is looking pretty good. I'm currently playing my way through the platinum edition. A lot of those RPGs are looking good too.

I say, who needs PS3 and XBox 360?

I can't wait for Dragon Age. I wish BioWare would start releasing info about that game, though.

Heh, no kidding. From what I get it's a spiritual sequel to Neverwinter Nights, and thus an RPG. Nice as that concept might be, given its made by the masters at BioWare, I still can't justify getting worked up over that little information. Compared with Oblivion, which I've slavishly gobbled up every press release and developer interview and am hellbent on getting my hands on the collector's edition (i.e., $ for Bethesda), well... I just hope BioWare gets it in gear.

Spellforce is kinda nifty, actually. It's got problems due to an overeliance on 'balance' (ie, robes/leather/plate all covering the same spectrum from 10ish to 120ish, so skill choice is basically useless) but it's a bunch of fun.

Sins of the Solar Empire
Epic 4X space empire building strategy with mix of Homeworld-like combat, made by ex members of Barkin dog(where they worked on Homeworld:Cataclysm, a space RTS that got 8.9 here)

Sword of Stars
Revolutionary mix of 4X space empire building strategy with mix of Homeworld-like combat, made by Kerberos Productions(which for formed by lead guys behind Homeworld:Cataclysm, a space RTS that got 8.9 here)

Seem a bit too similar?

Well, if we don't hear anything new about this game at E3, we probably won't get any new information for at least another year. Bioware seems to be taking its time with this game, which hopefully means they're adding shit loads of content and not fighting technical problems. The last time I check the Dragon Age forums, which was a couple of months ago, I got the impression that many of Bioware's fans were about to riot to get more information.

What a list! So many promising and long-awaited releases in every genre. These games I would very much like to get my hands on right now:
  • Medieval II: Total War
Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords (to be released this month - and there was much rejoice!)
Jagged Alliance 3D (I didn't even know about this one!)
Dragon Age (people who made Baldur's Gates and KOTOR can do no wrong)
    Half-Life 2: Aftermatch
    Operation Flashpoint 2
    Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
    Alan Wake

Isn't it bit closer to the Baldur's Gate series instead of NN in the sense that it's more story and character driven? I definitely hope so, because I would take BG2's NPCs (Minsc, Aerie, etc) any day over the simple hack 'n slash gameplay of Neverwinter Nights. For me, computer RPGs have always been first and foremost about storyline and characters, rather than combat and improving your skills.

I would, too, but what I'd take over Morte is information on frickin' Dragon Age! Christ! This was the best RPG in show at E3 2004! It should be released by now, by all rights, unless they're making this into the be-all, end-all of RPG's, in which case I'd like to hear more about it already.
