I know of at least three Jedi watching the younglings, Shaak Ti, Cin Drallig and that one old lady that Guards the Archives, the one that helped Obi-Wan try and find Kamino. Please tell me that there are more because that can't be all that were watching the younglings. One more thing I wonder how the Jedi reacted when they saw Anakin walk up to the Temple, and then kill the first Jedi. I bet they would be like " whoa! Now WTF was that for? :wtf: ATTACK!"
How Borg Cube vs. Death Star really went.

Okay, someone honestly thinks KIDS WITH TRAINING SABERS, which the support material says can't hurt or kill beyond a mild shock, had a chance in hell against a Lightsaber weilding Dark Side powered Jedi Knight?

Oh, Come on!

We watch him and Obi-wan deflect groups of blaster bolts with ease (landing bay), fight droids built to fight and kill Jedi (Grevious's Guards), and slice Dooku apart like he was butter.

The Temple was little more then an exercise for Anakin, because all the dangerous Jedi were out on the battlefield, and got mowed down by Order 66.

acording to novelization the jedi spread so thing that apart of the 3 masters (Shaak Ti, Cin Drallig, Jokasta Nu) the Jedi temple had so few Jedi that that it's mentioned that older padawan's were being armed (the Jedi blasted in front Bail Organa was to look like 9 or 10 years old in novelization and he had a proper saber, so if anyone above the age of 10 was being armed there's no reason to assume that there was a huge number of knights and/or masters present
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

Well, we do see a number of Jedi (and an adult Jedi being killed close to camera) in the short scene just prior to Anakin entering the chamber with the younglings.

I never said there wasn't any knights or/and Masters there and regardless being an adult doesn't make you a knight (Obi-wan Kenobi was 25 when he was made a knight, Anakin was 22 or 23)

No, I'm sorry if I implied that.

I played the game as well but didn't notice that that was Cin Drallig. I thought that those were at least three random Jedi that nobody was supposed to know.

Is the game an accurate portrayal of what really happened though?

I'm guessing that Vader went straight in with the clones, and as soon as they made their way inside the temple, he split off and went after the masters while leaving the "regulars" to the clones. He may be thinking of himself as all powerful now that he's been tittled a Sith, but giving a chance for the masters to rally together would still be a bonehead thing to do.

I'm gonna say... No absolutly not. But it may have shown what happened when we didn't see things in the movie.

I'm pretty sure its mentioned explicitly in the game that you fight Cin Drallig. You know, the balding guy; the boss of the level.

Keep in mind that at that point, Shaak Ti was most likely still injured from her defeat and torture at the hands of Grievous; Order 66 wasn't more than a few days later from the start of the movie, was it?

That is a possiblity. And yes, the novelization affirms that Order 66 was given only two or three days after the Battle of Coruscant.

I own The Clone Wars, did Dooku really build a force-reaper and kill much of the life on Kashyyyk?

Are you sure that was Kashyyyk and not a Wookiee colony world? Can't remember the exact storyline...

The SW Wiki basically treats most game storylines as canon, though, you might want to check there. :)

I figured that the storyline was canon, and now that I think of it, I believe it was a colony world.

Yeah, it was Alaris Prime, a moon of Alaris, in the Kashyyyk system.

There's no telling how many stormtroopers assaulted the Temple. Bail Organa said he saw thousands. So the column Anakin led into the Temple wasn't the only one. It would also make sense that the stormtroopers attacked from several directions. Another thing to keep in mind is that there were already a number of clones inside the Temple before Anakin's Night Of The Long Lightsabres, so they would have attacked from within as well.

If a half dozen stormtroopers here and there can gun gun down Jedi Masters with few if any losses, I'd imagine thousands could do likewise to Padawans and Younglings in the Temple.

Of course, most of the Jedi killed of Coruscant during Order 66 were taken by complete and total suprise; at least those in the Temple had a chance to defend themselves. Still, the point remains valid; even the greatest of Jedi can be killed through enough conventional fire-volume, and the amount ought to be considerably less for padawans.
