Which is highly ironic considering I am a Warsie after being a Vulture and was even considered a DoW in my early debating years (I even debated IXJac on the Culture fighting the Empire and wasn't convinced until I read the novels).NecronLord wrote:Admiral Valdemar wrote:NecronLord wrote: Frankly I expected little else. You have shown, albeit, vaguely how the Culture may not be as uber as some make it out to be (I know I don't see it as being unbeatable, the Xeelee would own them in time) but you have not shown how SW has a chance in this war other then simply giving up or asking Lucas to give them God powers.

I never claimed that wars had much of a chance other than one highly dubious tactic (which I shall keep for some other time).

But after seeing Episode I again this week on TV I have reacknowledged my hatred at the whole midichlorians thing. It is far too much like mitochondria which are simple bacterium that live in our cells and give them energy. I prefer the mystical Force thing myself, tell Exar Kun that his powers come from glorified amoebas.

Yup. Thats the highly dubious tactic. Namely get the entire imp fleet evenly spaced and hyperspace them onto the culture (no the culture would not be able to affect them in hyperspace, it is completely different, even claim that they would and I will have you anally violated by Jar Jar Binks )GSV Use Psychology wrote:Quote from page 1:NecronLord wrote: I never claimed that wars had much of a chance other than one highly dubious tactic (which I shall keep for some other time).

I don't know how they're supposed to hit the Culture ships when they're in hyperspace or happily cruising around at warp, but what the hell.NecronLord wrote: Yup. Thats the highly dubious tactic. I'd personally displace a few combat drones onto Imp ships and laugh as the crew'd be brutally slain.

Because of the way it fought, it was being foolish and simply toying with the AA because of the ruse it had tried to play on it.consequences wrote:has anyone pointed out the act that the ROU in Excession fully expected to die during its attack, and was very surprised when it survived?
The AA knew that the KT would have easily wiped him out.
