Looks tough. What are the features on the front, and what are the discs on the sides for?

I like it...and by the structuring, I could see it being a cost-saving measure from a shipyard running multiple production lines. With that large foreward structure area, it wouldn't take a lot to produce a model that replaces the SWACS array with a heavy spinal-mounted weapon of some sort.

That's a seriously classy ship, but... how big are the turrets? If those are bridge windows, those turrets are tiny. (Well, I assume they're turrets)

It looks like a much larger version of one of Homeworld's frigate class ships, which are pretty similar to that description, too.
According to wikipedia, "the Mohorovičić discontinuity is the boundary between the Earth's crust and the mantle."
According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.

Looks kinda like a Kushan Ion Frigite from Homeworld

At least the forward weapons. And the Kushan main engines were either horizontal or vertical slits:

Damn mang! That's some really fine work you've got there. Solid, blocky. Very good.

It looks more along the lines of the Progenitor Dreadnaught to me.
