Having just acquired my first officer (the noble Muffinking) is there anything I can do to assist him beside keep my tax rate low?

Depending on his income, you're actually better off with a high tax rate. For some reason two inactive guys made me their commander, and I just tax the hell out of them. If they need money, just drop some money into their bank from your commander vault.

Yay! I grabbed 13.6 million from such an unlucky person. He was farming the crap out of people as he had 10 million before I made my attack.

He should've banked his naquadriah.

I've heard of people grabbing more than this (45 mil etc) but so far this is my largest and I'm happy for the turn-effectiveness.

Now I'm going to have to save turns for tomorrow...

How the hell are you people nabbing that much? The most I've ever gotten was 5 mil.

That being said, I now have a Dakara superweapon! Huzzah!

I just troll the attack pages and often find people sitting around with 5-7 mil+. Of course hitting them might be a little hard. The most I've ever nabbed was I believe in the vicintiy of 8-9 mil.

I would like to announce that my trun income prodution has just surpassed 1 million naquahdriah. If I can build up my defense, I'm going to have piles of the stuff tomorow morning.

EDIT: Anyone out there looking for an officer?

Wouldn't mind one. You'd be infinitely better then my last one who sat there doing nothing for two and a half weeks then started attacking high level people.
Though I think someone who has a fair sized group might be better

Looking at the right time helps a lot. Just minutes ago, I spotted someone with 14 million and I swiped 13/14 of it. Thing is, this guy is also from Lost City just as my previous victim is from. They could be good farms.

Ragnar, I wouldn't mind you being my officer. I'll charge 0 since I don't need any naquadriah outside myself. Definitely upgrade your defensives as even at critical covert, you'll be making at least 6 million naquadriah in a couple hours while you sleep.

Looking at the rankings, some people have more defensive action than the number 1 offensive action. Heck some people are into double digit in the millions of defensive action.

Damn, the cost per attack for repairs for me is simply ruinous- 300K/attack in repairs (have 80 500K weapons).

I see you've been attacked quite a bit. I would retaliate but I don't have any turns since I've been on a multi million naquadriah stealing spree and I need to save up for Thursday's night attack.

My turns are now down to zero. I spent my last ten turns attacking someone who had 22 million. I only snagged 16 but it is my new high.

It's certainly a heady feeling when you steal your first 5 after farming 2-3 million inactives for so long. I'll help out in the big camp tomorrow, I've done a good job getting up to this level I think.

On the guys hoarding a lot of naq, what have been the average defense values? I'm wondering if I need to continue my attack upgrades or if I can slack off a little and invest in something else.

CF Update: Apparently they have lost another two members. I believed they were 18 before but they are now 16. I think they're getting really tired of us handing their ass to them.

Few have been less than 500k and many I've encountered have around a million or more.

Varies, as you can see the list in my last post that I edited into, all of them had less than a million in action. Though many that I have spied are a bit below or above 2 million. Not many truly have around three million as I'm at 3.2 and I'm ranked 54.

Here's an example: As of this post, this person has 700k in defensive action and he holds 7.8 million naquadriah.

Anyway, I need to get rid of my weapons and soldiers and replace them w/ superweapons- the cost of attacks is eating too much up, and I appear to have more soldiers than anyone.

13 million is a very juicy target. Did you increase your realm alert while you were asleep? If not, you should start doing it. You lose a good amount of naq. but at least all of them aren't stolen.

On another note, who's the player name Farscape? With 9 million, I would so attack you right now for holding such a large amount, alliance or not.
