I mean, I wonder if, faced with an Imperial invasion, they would be able to produce uber-missiles with several thousand tons of AM to destroy Star Destroyers... (Let's say a missile with 2,000 tons of AM and 2,000 tons of matter. If they made both the M and AM of a very dense substance (such as DU) they might get a missile small enough for a stripped-out GCS to carry dozens and dozens of them. Then if they could fire them off fast enough and if the missiles could actually hit without being intercepted by fire from the Star Destroyers...)
Just pondering these things.

The basic idea for an effective anti-ship missile is a type of cruise missile with stealth technology. Its probably going to be Runabout sized. It would be launched from the platform (lets say Nebula) and it would phase cloak and then close range on the enemy ship. It was decloak shortly before impact and the resulting explossion would tear up the ship. Bonus points for getting past the shields.Acclamator wrote:I mean, I wonder if, faced with an Imperial invasion, they would be able to produce uber-missiles with several thousand tons of AM to destroy Star Destroyers... That's impossible. The Dreadnought missle outgunned Voyager easily and only had 1 ton.
