Zephyr Powered Armor (Cyborg)
Yep, I drew this cyborg after being up for 14 hrs. Stupid insomnia.
Eventually I'll edit and color with photoshop.

I've noticed. My best work always comes out when I'm three, five, eight hours past my bedtime. It's fucking weird...TheMuffinKing wrote:Yep, I drew this cyborg after being up for 14 hrs. Stupid insomnia.
Nice PA design. Do I detect a bit of Quake 4 influence in the design?

Hmm, never thought of that. I guess I just like to showw off the detail of the armor/figure itself, though I usually have several empty hardpoints on each robot. There's always room for more guns!Small question. Why do your powered armours always have just the one or two guns? With their size they should be able to carry rather more...
Usually better to carry a bigger gun rather than more guns. You don't usually need an insane rate of fire. Most of the things that do, are designed to shoot down aircraft, or are aircraft.Elheru Aran wrote:Small question. Why do your powered armours always have just the one or two guns? Sort of like how we arm tanks with fifty or more 7.62mm machine guns? They can carry the weight of that many easily after all.Elheru Aran wrote:Small question. Why do your powered armours always have just the one or two guns? With their size they should be able to carry rather more...
One person can't aim more then one weapon at once, and the more weight of guns you carry the less weight of ammo you carry for them. It makes no sense for an infantryman to have more then one primary weapon; any additional weapon must offer a unique capability which makes it worth hauling.
