Everyone out there, think of it this way:

The top three non-God sci-fi races:

Xeelee, Timelords, Culture.

Everything else are like ants to them.

Well the timelords have their rivals with the same tech level

War-Lords (IIRC- evil time lords)
(later) Daleks

and a few others...

Wait til someone on the Andromeda side brings up one of the following:

1 - Magog Worldship and/or Spirit of the Abyss

2 - One of Harpers planet/sun/galaxy/universe/dimension destroying weapons

3 - Trance

:D

Not even Renewed "I can't get eneough of Hercules in space!" Valour is stupid enough to debate this.

I think we have had our fill of all things Culture for now, but rest assured, in 6 months the cycle will start again. It does on SB.

I can't stand Andromeda now. It went from being a fairly cool show to being Hercules in space, ditching plot, point, and coolness right after 'The Prince'.

What the hell happened to stopping the Magog worldship? What happened to restoring the Commonwealth? What happened to the Jaguar-Dragon war or the human rebellion on Earth?

Hercules needs to find Xena now, that is all that matters.

What is "plot"?

In the case of TV writing, it's more like:

"Brain? What is brain?"
It's not my place in life to make people happy. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to watch me slaughter cows you hold sacred. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to have your basic assumptions challenged. If you want bunnies in light, talk to someone else.

Culture has every advantage once again

Not quite every single one. They don't have time travel; something that can be pulled off with a transporter like Harper's. Or someone like Trance with a slipstream capable vessel. Short of somehow erasing the Culture way back in the past… They are so screwed.
I think slipstream makes the Culture's FTL look rather slow but that would only be good for running befpre the Culture gets there. Course it isn't hard to get your hands on a slipstream drive either.

People, give up the Culture threads. The only organizations that can concievably defeat the Culture are the Xelee, the Marvelverse, the Timelords/Daleks and the Principality.

Seems like going back in time to attack the Culture when they were weaker would get the attention of some of the Sublimed. So, unless they are excluded from this...

The Sublimed are?

I also forgot that tesseracting devices also seem to allow users to travel through time along with higher dimensions.
