Inhabited worlds or just really big stripmines?

Of course, stripmine worlds are pretty impressive in their own way.

Both. Etti and Bonadan are examples of each.

Madine was given his own moon/planet in the Commonor from the Emperor for good service (before he defected). We learned that in Isards revenge.

Well there you have it. Youcan win planets, and entire systems with gambling.

Provided you're good enough, and the Empire doesn't smack you for it, you can win the entire galaxy (provided you have life extension to last that long).

Didn't he win it for 2 billion credits? That's pretty cheap for a planet, considering a TIE Fighter costs 35,000. That must mean that one habitable planet doesn't make a difference, and they're willing to give it away for that little.

I believe more...why because he makes the notion afterwards that with the money he could've won, he could've bought a planet of equal or above worth(given where this one was located at the time)

All in all...the way that this was basically an upping the ante in game of future poker and not like some galactic political concern...it says alot.
