Viewed from the side, the F-35 really looks like the F-22's short, stubby brother. 8)

The engine inlets are also significantly different betweem the two.
yeah I noticed that too the air intakes seem much smaller. I also must say that the landing gear on make it look a little weird too (all the more reason to watch it while its int the air.)

not only are the air intakes significantly different, you can tell there's only one engine because the horizontal tail fins are too close together, plus there's only one bump where an engine should be.

I've looked at way too many pictures of these planes :P
