The board's been up & down for me all afternoon. It works for a few minutes and then refuses to load for a few tens of minutes. Could it be weather related? I know the weather's horrible right now, high winds, ice pellets, freezing rain, not a good day to be outdoors.

Has anyone else noticed a massive spike in inaccessibility complaints in The Chat? It seems a trunk that serves the East Coast and Midwest is blackholing SDnet packets. Really fucking annoying, and I hope they bloody get the fucking thing fixed!

So far General Zod, Dalton, Noble Ire, DesertFly, Anarchist Bunny, Bertie Wooster and PFC Brungardt have all said they're unable to get to the board. Bunny said about twenty minutes ago that he was able to get here again.

Add me onto the list. I wasn't able to access the board until I used a proxy server to route my connection through.

I live on the east coast and I had errors getting on for an hour or so but they went away after that.

I managed to get it to load for a few minutes after... ten o'clock, I want to say, but I might be wrong on that time.

The board crapped out on me around 1pm yesterday, and it stayed down until about an hour ago. Mike's page and all that other stuff works, but I couldn't connect to the board with either the regular link or the encrypted one. Tried Opera, Mozilla, & IE, they all failed.

I could not get on the forum from 12.30pm until 2.00pm when it was still not working and I went offline. When it came back I had to log in for the first time in ages.

I'm here for the first time since 5:30 pm yesterday (it's now 21:47), couldn't get the board to load. I asked Mike by email, and he says he doesn't know what causes it. He didn't have any problems accessing it from home.

He said he suspected some kind of routing issue for the board server for the ISP connection, because the main site, the creationism site and his home pages loaded quite normally even while the board was down.

The same problem here. I had to use a proxy to get on. The board's been working for me ever since I tried about two hours or so ago.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Uhm, all of the text appears to be, well, enormous. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm sorry if this is stupid to mention, but it's really weird. Maybe it's just on my end?

Refresh, or go briefly to a different site and return. If it persists, close and restart Firefox. Happens sometimes here, usually it's just me accidentally engaging the display functions...

Not so much a weight update since I have eaten like a pig the past few days because I was feeling weak from excessive exercise - but I went home for a few days this weekend and several people commented how much better I was looking, which is better inspiration than any set of scales can give me. :)

Also, on Thursday I weighed 10 stone 12.5 oz - putting me under 11 stone for the first time in years. I am back up to 11 stone 2 now but I am back in the gym tomorrow and I reckon I will shift that weight in a few days. :)

Uh, is there some sort of reason that the Quick Reply button image has been replaced with... I'm not really sure what it is, but it does look like someone's avatar, here's a link to an off site version. Didn't check any other templates, but i'd imagine only Blacksoul's buggered.

Oh, and it's pretty interesting that the quickreply.gif filename looks like it's been changed to quickreply.gif.jpg. Odd, really.

That's someone's avatar. I've had this happen to me from time to time. Just clear your cache and you should be fine.
