Now that we've had the movie Mobile Infantry against the Imperial Stormtroopers, how would the book Mobile Infantry do against them? Would the addition of the powered armor, jump jets, and tactical nukes (plus more efficient tactics) be enough to pull victory away? Or will the coordination, energy weapons, and heavy armor of the Imperial army maintain its grasp on victory?

MI would win with similar numbers and infantry only, but Imperial forces would rape them with any significant advantage in numbers or major armored units.

There crew served weapons are mean shit.

since you specified no numbers, millions of stormies wipe out thousands of MI.

In a even-numbered fight, the MI come out on top.

It's been a while since I read the book, but I remember the MI suits having many of the same things that stormtroopers armor has. It'd be a tough fight, though I think with artillery, the stormtroopers would come out on top.
