We've got 7 people right now. Tomorrow night, in about 16 hours, I'll start this. Sound good? Good. I thought so. Join up while you can, if you want in, people! :D

4 hours until I start the game. Who is Powercow? Any of your friends? Covenant is one of mine. If I don't get an answer on that, I'll boot him in 4 hours when we start.

BTW, Gups. Waiting on you to join!

Oh, you want Vulcans Gups? I'll withdraw and Pick Federation or DS9 or something. Vulcans basically have Federation technology.

<edit>Guppy might not make it in four hours. He has work. You could add him manually. I don't think you could upload the empire for him though, unless you had his password and login.</edit>

Powercow is nobody I know.

Thanks Brian, I was thinking "Who should I play" and opted for the Vulcans, but I didn't realise you'd taken them and when I did, I wasn't in the right mindset to think about a new faction choice.

Thankfully, I don't work Saturdays. :)

I've got a novel to write, three essays, two midterms in the next two weeks :P.

Need to reapprove me. I submitted the default empire and forgot I had to change the password for it (hehe).

Now. I'm making the game... should I go medium starter tech or low? Low gives us more time to expand, while medium is faster to play and get in wars...

How about this--make it a small galaxy.

Also use the "allow start in same system" and also use medium technology.

Make ten planets.

It'll be a bloodbath lol.

For not putting in ten homeworlds Species 8472 will be exterminated.

Hey, at least the point defense torpedoes got in, I'm happy.

Hmm heavy cruiser at 800k research points, and we have 150k a turn... I can live with that, it looks like moving from one level to the next is an investment of a year, that's pretty good.

<edit>My god how is it that three races have 2x the research points... GR research center? Wow.</edit>

Jaffa, Kull Warriors and Wraith invaded the Goddess' realm! We have to run in with P90's (because they look cool) and Zats to save our queen!

That, or the version is wrong.

<edit>And thanks for running the game Neph, you're doing a great job so far (as long as it's not me doing the job it's great lol) :P</edit>

I've got to manually execute every turn it seems. Since we're using a custom version, at least until I can send some stuff to the game server.

If we need a turn execution, someone just PM me. Oh. It's also Brian's turn.

dilgar go home

(The treaty has been nullified. I suggest you take your ships back the way they came, or they will be intercepted and fired on. You have been warned.)

Except the Cardassians. They're as far as I can tell, way isolated. My friend tells me that he's kicking back and enjoying us chumps descend upon each other... :P

Hmm I'm rethinking the shield burning thing... a couple extra turns building a ship might be worth it if I can burn out three shields, especially since it costs so much research to get enhanced energy/torpedoes and larger hull sizes...

Let's not forget that even if you batter down someone's shields, the per-hit recharge is still in effect until those generators are destroyed. If you use shield disruptors, that doesn't happen.
