Ok, so the trek stuf in this exersise is going to be both operational and safe if scotty has anything to do with it. If any next gens show up they are going to be shot personally by Kirk (ripped shirt) to shut up there technobabling on about needing to recaliper the warp core or build those stupid hampster maze Jefferies tunnels all thoughout the devise.

no what ever Scotty builds will be very robust and run on just about anything. But She won't have the power to pull forth a win.

I think the contest will come down to who can build the best operating repulser lift type vehicle in which they put some salvaged scanning and/or defensive equiptment used to find this tower and hover to the top the fastest.

Absolutely but even if they weren't they wouldn't help them one little bit

I dont think Trek can do anything then. They dont use much antigrav/repulsors and they are pretty out of place with all the wierd tech in the scrap pile.

The best they can do is to build a tower taller than the tower they are trying to get onto and then jump and hope for the best.

all welding will be done by phaser

There is to be fair Star Trek stuff and gizmos(Albeate Junk) placed in he scrap pile.
