Wouldn't she be in her 80s or something by Renegade? I don't think she'd be much of a commando. :P
I dunno. RA1 took place in the 1940's, and RA2 around the 70's/80's. She apparently ages very well.

If nothing else, she got a boobjob between RA1 and RA2 (yes, I know that it's a different actress).

Tanya2 is, clearly, a relative (Daughter? Niece?) who was named after her famous family member.
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

Maybe Bond's consciousness is transferred by MI6 from body to body every ten years or so? :P

Methinks it's more likely that Tanya somehow stole Kane's secret to eternal youth. Maybe she got his secret to coming back from the dead, too. :P

actually the most logical explanation is that "Tanya" is a codename they use (thus it can be used by two different women), the only name (IIRC) we ever hear is Tanya (so lack of a family name and a steroetypically russian name suggest a codename).
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot
