Yes, that is what I was alluding to.
The Syndrome shows that the human brain has a huge capacity for absorbing knowledge with little exposure, it is capable of mathmatical feats which allow someone to multiply 6 digit numbers together in their head without even using a pen or paper plus numerous other abilities.

Now mind you he has problems keeping a relationship, but from an evolutionary standpoint that is not necessary.
Also looking at his parents I'd say they are proof that some of it is hereditary.

That's not quite correct. The reason why we - and many other species - form lasting pairings is the effort required to bring up our children. Society has not completely offset it yet although now we are at the point where it's possible to bring up children alone. Merely procreation is not the only evolutionary drive.
