Started a new webcomic

I have'nt done much brainstorming for webcomic ideas since 3 years ago, but now i've started work one a new ongoing series, It's really an improvement over my previous work and really different and hilarious from what else is on the net!

I'll be doing 3-5 a week. Next one will be about Mac users!

God, that comic blows. It's like a representation of everything cheap, banal, cliched, and useless about web humor, but only to a minor degree when compared to all the comics that are truly god-awful out there (to be fair, I didn't want to write thr dialogue in the first place, nor did I want to look around for actual examples for inspiration).

So yeah, if I had hunkered down and made it seriously worsem it could have been funny just for being so horrid. I think I'll stick with absurdism and general ironic form, in that case.

Sucking just isn't so simple for people like me!

The only real question I had is why did you made it so small? I have to admit that it was a little hard to read.

I thought it was funny. "Online reviews say this game is beneath me." i thought that sounded disturbingly like a real person, which made it funny.

"Dude i went totally Luke Skywalker!"

Should have said Anakin though that would have just completed the geek triumverate..

Saying "Luke" is actually geekier, though (and funnier), because it's refering to past popular culture rather than current events.

Not that any of it really matters, since the comic was of course made to be intentionally bad.

...Now why would I have know 18-Till of all people would pop in and say "I don't know what everyone else was talking about, I thought it was great?" Does someone send him a check in the mail for thirty-five cents each time he says that? I should have written down a wager and timestamped it.

There's no surprise, no punchline, no style, effort, or meaning. I literally thought up four basic plot ideas withing two minutes, picked one, and filled the text balloons with pointless gamer and emo shit. That's the joke.

Well how am i supposed to knwo it was intentionally bad. I thought it was kinda humorous, so maybe your better than you think or maybe i like squiggly lines, who knows i always was attracted to South Park and DR. Katz so crappy animation could just turn me on. For all you know i'm sitting here in the buff leering at the image of a stick figure like normal people watch porn.

I wish i got paid to enjoy myself. As it is i get paid to be the go between for people in a drive thru line and a fast food joint. You want fries with that? If i got paid for this, lord knows i'd be paid better than my real job.

I'm waiting for someone to pop in with a PWNed image now.

I should get a big, giant, gold belt buckle that reads "I'm better than you think", I guess. But the comic is still retarded and the art almost as godawful. I might as well have written about a bowel movement; it's not something worth even thinking about after producing it and flushing it away, unless it's for the sheer ironic awfulness of doing so.

But now I guess you're free to beat off to it or whatever. The last line was originally "You are the Jar-Jar of my gaming moxie", but I thought a banal emotional reaction was more representative of the normal junk.
