Nor Wikipedia, apparently. Huh; I was certain it was him. Damm...

Edit -- Credits at the end of the game confirm Warner was not involved.

I have to mention this:

I watched someone playing the Pirates of the Caribbean level. The juxtaposition of an anime-style character, Captain Jack Sparrow, and Goofy made me twitch.

It would have been funnier if Donald had taken one of the medallions. Evil undead zombie duck sorcerer pirate FTW!

The trick is using the "Learn" Reaction command to accumulate at least three or four Jump commands.

I just waged the penultimate battle of the game. Taking a break before the final battle begins. :)

As of about 4:10AM EST today, I beat Kingdom Hearts 2 on Normal Mode. 8)

All I will say about the ending, to avoid spoilers, is, well, what can I say? With the strength and quality of it's ending, Kingdom Hearts 2's excellence as a game might very well clinch it as the best Square/SquareEnix game - overall - since Final Fantasy VI. It brings the two games (three counting Chain of Memories) full circle yet leaves clear room for a sequel. (How? I ain't sayin'.... mwah.)

The final boss battle sequence is simply astounding and cool. You'll be exercising those button-mashing fingers well, I assure you.

And that's all I'll say for now. It's up to you to see for yourself. Good luck, because you're going to need it.

Heehee...you haven't seen the secret ^_^

A great actor and better VA. He was the Cardassian who tortured Picard, Chancellor Gorkon in ST: VI, and the voice of Ra's Al Ghoul in Batman: The Animated Series. Cool fricken voice. But I must agree, he is no Saruman.

And Steve, I expected nothing less from you. Good job :P

Yeah, well, I was mostly interested in seeing how hard the final level/boss would be so I kept going despite not finishing the final tournies at Olympus.

Does Expert mode have extra fights and such?

Not exactly...in Expert the enemies are stronger, and the stronger types of enemies show up sooner. My roommate's blitzing through Proud Mode with no real problem, but he tends to break games. He worked out a way to do multi-hit chains of 99 damage (the max possible) in Paper Mario 2. If you've never played the game - the final boss has 150 HP. The optional, ultimate, Sephiroth-ish secret boss (Bonetail) has 200.

Basically, if you want to see the secret ending on Normal mode, you need to complete EVERYTHING. Every treasure chest collected, every weapon acquired, every item synthesized, Sephiroth beat, the works.

If you want to see the secret ending on Proud mode, all you hafta do is beat the game. Pretty simple.

I just downloaded the game and started playing it. I am going out on a limb here, but my first thought when actually controlling Roxas was: "Jesus Christ the graphics suck." The graphics look extremely similar to those of FFX. This is my opinion. I have yet to play KH. I was told that I do not have to play it to understand what is going on in KH2, so, I obtained KH2.

How are the extra bosses, anyway? I had all kinds of fun fighting Phantom, Kurt Zisa, Ice Titan, and Sephiroth after I pwned Ansem on KH1.

Does KH2 also have secret bosses, are is it just Sephy? And if so, how does he compare to the KH1 version?

I despise Phantom, have no desire to ever fight him again, and I could care less what reward you get. You suck for being better than me Praxis

lol, once I developed a cohesive strategy I pwned him on my first try. Before that he absolutely murdered me though.

I'll give you my strategy.

Don't take Donald. Use Peter Pan and Goofy. This goes completely contrary to ALL conventional Kingdom Hearts wisdom. The general idea is that most of the time Phantom can only be hit with magic attacks (which Donald has and Goofy doesn't) and Donald can heal you and Goofy can't.

The trick? Goofy gets MP Haste (two of them) and MP Rage (two of them) before you even get your first MP Rage. I didn't have MP Rage when I beat Phantom. Goofy also gets a move called MP Gift, where he sacrifices one MP and gives you three.

In the Customize menu, set Goofy to Always be using support moves and rarely use attacks that consume MP and always use melee attacks.

Goofy will then run up to Phantom constantly and get pwned through the entire battle.

How is this helpful?

Goofy has two MP rages. That means every time Phantom hits him he gains a TON of MP, which he immediately gifts (tripling the amount) to YOU. As a result you *never* run out of MP- the instant you use Stopra (consuming 2 MP) Goofy gives you 3 more.

Once you have that strategy he's a piece of cake. Thought of it on my own too :D

EDIT: 4000th post, yay!

What is the level you guys beat Sephiroth at on the first game?

Nope, just Sephiroth. But he is HARD.
He moves faster than his KH1 version, he has nastier attacks, and he deals quite a bit more damage. My roommate couldn't beat him 'til he was close to level 99, and had Ultima Weapon.

OBLIVION PWNZORZ JOO PS2 NOOBLETS! SORA SUCKS! LONG LIVE URIEL SEPTIM!!!

From the darkest night
Up to the sky, the heart drifts
Calling to the heavens in sweet song
Kites drift by...

Sailing ships on the horizon
Question the fury of the winds
Unfettered in their question for discovery
Asking for the mercy of the sea
Riding the waves
Every soul prays

Even at night
Nobody walks
I sleep for awhile

Oh, who's seen the secret ending video? My brother found the Japanese one, so some of the text wasn't readable.... but they had English terms flashing at the end..... the most interesting of which was "Keyblade War".

Something tells me KH3 will be most interesting.....

Yes, very soon. Probably within an hour of gameplay, you get an ability to change into different forms. It's called Drives, and it's quite clearly explained in the manual, if you're curious.

You're going to be able to do it *at will* ;) Like Dominus Atheos said, it's called Drives. It recharges somewhat like MP, and you get to do what you're talking about until it runs out, but you lose one or both of your party members in the process until you revert to normal form. It's worth it :)
