Starcraft Cut Scenes
Does anyone know of a place where the Starcraft and Brood War cut scenes are hosted and open for viewing or download online, like HBO's set for Halo and Halo 2? Is it some copyright/hardware thing, or have I just not looked hard enough?

Erm, its pretty much copyright. Unless Blizzard wants to show them, nobody can (legaly) show them without owning the game.
Technicly, they were encoded in smacker format, which back then was pretty good altough today would be considered crap (256 color palette for one thing). I think you could play the cutscenes with a smacker-enabled player (RAD video tools, earlier versions of Media Player Classic before it was removed do to copyright reasons) directly since they were stored as individual files. At least that is IIRC.
I belive they were put on one of those collector's edition extra DVDs with good quality, but I'm not sure (I'm pretty sure I'm thinking about the Warcraft III collectors edition video DVD).

They made cinematic DVDs for Diablo and StarCraft as well. The Blizzard Store is out of stock, but I bet you could find them elsewhere, particularly eBay.
I believe in a sign of Zeta.
