That game was awesome! I loved that... "off the mag-deflector, over the mountian, and onto the poor schmuck in the valley..."

Ahem. Worms is the derivative series. Scorched Earth originated when VGA was barely a standard.

Heh. I still play with friends.

"Prepare to ingest flaming justice, metallic ne'do'ell!"
"Never! I hoped you slept well for tonight you face your inevitable collapse!"
"Bwahaha! Defcon One, GO!"
"Aarg! Shields failing! Switching power to tertiary reactors!"

And so on. Incidentally, I remember this really cool old DOS Star Trek game where you would go throughout the quadrants, and click on enemies to shoot, and there were space-spiders, and romulans, and cloaks, and starbases, and it was really cool. I found something called WinTrek, but it requires you to do some sort of weird calculation just to raise the frickin' shields.

Know where I can get it?

It did have color, though, and graphics; the Enterprise looked kinda like the enterprise, the screen was blue, the starbases were little green boxes...

No, but I have the C++ source code in storage?, Not on disk mind you.

I have the CODE, in a three ringed binder, full of print outs, from when we tried to key it into the College Comp Sci labs several years ago.
