For the fans of S.M Stirlings Draka series:
Here is the basic set up - ater the fall of the Alliance on the alternate Earth the Draka Domination is left to its own devices, while the remainder of "Humanity" attempts to colonize Alpha Centuri. The Draka keen to enslave the last free Humans in existance begin working on a Gateway that will allow them to transit to the new Human colonies almost instantly.
The Gateway, built by Servus labor and Draka brutality is a marvel of engineering when its finally complete. However, the Gateway does not lead to the intended place. As the Draka enter they find themselves not on the new Human colonies but amongst the outer rim of the Star Trek galaxy.
The Draka have approximatly 1,000 "citzens" and an additional 5,000 Servus that transit the Gateway. Once on the other side they can not return.
If this setup sounds similar to Drakkon, it is. I think it would be interesting to see how the Draka (the very embodiment of Nietzsche's Ubermensch ) and the Emipre ( to whom Morality superceeds the application of Power ).

The Federation gets brutally slaughtered. Federation sensors were unable to detect the genetic engineering in Bashir, despite the many security checks and medical exams he would have had to go through in his position. The draka would lay low while building their numbers, for as long as necessary. They would carve through the pathetic computer security of the feds like it didn't exist. Once they felt secure in their numbers and understanding of the federation, they would covertly capture a few members of every important non human race in the federation. they would then experiment, untill they found a way to exert pheromone control over every member of the federation council, and the ruling powers of the member worlds. At this point, they would enslave the ruling body of the federation, and start shaping it to fit their desires.
Before anyone goes off about how their pheromones couldn't affect alien races, remember that basically any two species in star trek seem to be able to screw and produce viable offspring, and that homo drakensis shares less genetic similarity with humanity than chimpanzees, and they are able to jerk us around with ease.

Good point about Bashir, not showing up on Medical scans. I forgot he was "Enchanced".
I'm not going to be too rough on the Feds here. I think they might actually have a shot at stopping the Draka from taking over a large portion (or all) of the Federation. However, they would have next to zero chance to stopping the Draka from leading a successful "rebellion" on at least one planet.
If the Feds delay deeling with the Draka, or refuse to accept the nature of the treat they face then they will find themselves "under the yoke" sooner or later.

Come to think of it the Draka threat would be similar to something that Humans have already faced in the Star Trek Universe. Note: similar but not the same.
Kahn and his ilk have already been dealt with in the Eugenics war. Im not sure if that conflict is the same one we see the tail end of in ST:FC though. Maybe the Eugenics War and WWIII are seperate events in the ST Universe.

Well, based off of Kahn's performance during "Wrath of Kahn" he's not up to the CRACK that the munchkinized Draka are. Federation troops are -BEEP-ed in HTH, and so is everyone else... And the Draka will win in the end b/c they are infinitely patient and have the will to put whatever is necessary into the cause of advancing "The Race."
The Draka, almost as broken as the Jedi.
