Ok, a fire fighter's blanket Reflects and contains 99% of heat.
It's a fucking sauna.
Now, If, I'm under one, with my cold (Haven't fired a shot yet) barrel isn't betraying any heat.
Your mech, is simply producing more BTU's and having to release them then the human.
Given that humans also have image mag, and passive light amp in their scopes, you have a much bigger target then the human riding prone. You are big fucking target.
Now purhaps in the mech, your releiving your self into a catheter ratther then a bottle, your discomfort factor is about the same.

Their weapons cannot harm me, and I can always use my secondary cameras, call in some infantry suppout, and let the snipers worry about them, on top of me keeping an eye on them.
Heck, if I'm using a Dom series, they have an even harder time to get my mono-eye, because I'm moving at a faster rate.

Your "Armour" is too fucking thin.
A Barreta .50 cal, would punch through it like the soda can it is.
Oh, as was show with their effect on standard rocks, your average MSG weapon's are HE missiles (So they can be fired off center without recoil) the standard Sabot .50cal is better then that.
Also Gasraki mechs, are shown to have about a CM or less of basically Aircraft grade Aluminnum over some smartmetal motivator system.
A centerline hit, will actually ho right through and kill the PILOT!
a .30cal SAW could kill a Gasraki
Oh, wait your basing your figures on a mountain of Feces.
Make as many icons as you like, but bullshit is still bullshit, and while this may come as a shock to you, icons do not actually constitute a valid argument. FTL is impossible, so they say as little as possible about how it works. We accept it because it is necessary in order to have space opera in any form, but that doesn't mean we have to throw our brains out the window and completely ignore all realism problems as a result. Why do you think I have pages on the stupidity of Trek pseudoscience?
In this case, the idiots actually said exactly how it was done, even to the point of giving numbers and providing detailed descriptions of what happened, all of which contradict each other. It is hardly justified by simply pointing out that FTL is not possible; you're simply being knee-jerk defensive. Get off it; this is precisely identical to idiot Trekkies who whine that we shouldn't criticize the mountains of Trek pseudoscience because there's no such thing as a Death Star.

In terms of Physical Damage to Real world Objects a Dom is inferior to present day reality.
The only thing Gasraki has going for it is technobabble memory metal that is allegedly stronger tensile/flex strength then steel, while many times lighter. and somehow repairs it's self. It doesn't really stop bullet's it deforms around them, and then repairs.
In real world you would have a weapon that costs Ten times as much as a Tank, and can be killed by a Navy Seal.

Shown where? The last time they showed a Mobile Suit Weapon hitting rocks, it was 30ft asteroids getting pulverized by shots from a Beam Rifle(Gundam 0083).THe Yosemite Bear wrote:Like Hell

Actually, in the tank battle scene, a FAKE was shown taking point-blank shots from a machinegun to it's head, and showed no damage, except to the Paintjob, so I'd hardly call it aircraft-grade. Equal to light armor, sure, but you'll need someting a little heavier than a machinegun. Also Gasraki mechs, are shown to have about a CM or less of basically Aircraft grade Aluminnum over some smartmetal motivator system.

That's why the TA's are built for mobility, not heavy armor. We leave that to you tankers. 80% of the weapons that could hurt them, the TAs and FAKES could dodge.

Of course, If I'm wrong, feel free to point out where it was stated that that was for their armor.

That tells us nothing unless you know what type of ammunition was in use. Normal 5.56 will bounce off of 10mm of steel while the AP sabot round will go through 30.SAMAS wrote:

And could someone Yank SAMAS's head out of his ARSE. IT's PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to dodge a TRANSONIC PROJECTILE!!!!!!
We have spent upwards of 40 fifty pages trying to tell you that!
CAN'T BE DONE.
Human reflexes, and physical stamina can't take the requisit 60g acceleration change nessary to beat it. The average anime armour displays all of the characteristics of a super conductive ceramic. Brittle vs. KE, dispurses energy well. Almost all of the round fired by porjectile weapons display all of the real world characteristics of being some sort of Explosive Missile weapon (Like a grenade launcher, or Gyrojet)
Since the "Burst that hit the FAKK, and the Tank rounds that were fired all had really bright flashes, and did jack shit damage compared to the real world, we will have to sumise that they were only loaded with their "Tracer" ammo.
