These are a few various appreciation threads for a variety of characters, I hope you like em, and first of all we Have:

Keep in mind that Sandman is the source of dreams, imagination and all of the gods, and that he shapes reality and the mind.
He knows what he is talking about, and is still certain that going up against Lucifer means certain Death" (From Death, his sister).

Now, One of Morpheus's servants is biblical Cain, curse of sevenfold returning and all.
(The curse was imparted by the Presence, anyone hurting him will have the effect returned upon him 7 times as strong without hurting Cain at all).

He also talks about playing with them, retconning any incident of a lesser demon [Etrigan] giving him trouble.

Now, here's Lucifer's second or third best feat:

He went outside of the presence's creation [Which was everything, including Hypertime, all the multiverses (Lucifer commented that "anyone" could make a multiverse to Mazikeen)], and there he mercy killed his Brother Michael.

Michael was the 2d or third most powerful being in creation alongside Lucifer.
Lucifer was the Will, Michael the power (The presenc edirectly imbued him with power, he was the one that easily overturned the rogue angels without using the presence's power).
Lucifer helps "kill" him [he instantly reforms clean and healthy] and the release of energy that would have destroyed the entire DC omniverse and rebboted it is chaneeled by Lucifer to create a new reality that is entirely deperate from the Presence.

The one holding the promethian giants, (at one time) Darkseid, anything that touches it with nothing ever being able to get to the other side?

Lucifer ignores it and The source [The source of Darkseid's powers and the powers of Takyon and the other new gods], and it apparently doesn't move [either scared or unaware of him], so that he (Lucifer) can take a good view of all creation.
He also shows the ability to watch everything happening in the universe at once without any difficulty and finding someone.

A little mention of speed, note that this is in a non combat form and while manifested in flesh (Absolutely nothing compared to what he can do), and taken by surprise by the astoundingly powerful Basanos.
In short it says that speed doesn't matter to him in the slightest, but his own time difference that he created does:

Lucifer vs the 2 Titans who at this points had all the powers attributed to Yahweh (Not the Presence, as has been said before God, Yahweh are merely parts of the truly omnipotent presence).
They had all of Yahwe's powers who had left creation earlier (Meaning, they were omnipotent), although they were'nt very good with omnicience yet.:

What's astoundingly more impressive is the fact that he apparently somehow destroys or relocates the undestructible words of the Presence.

When he and Lucifer travel to Yggdrasil both are apparently weakened/injured though to an equal degree.
Lucifer is driven into a killing frenzy by the blood of Fenris god of Destruction, endings, entropy, annihalation etc' (Blame it on Elaine feeding it to him, him regaining control shortly after is an another mindboggingly impressive feat).
He then fights Michael (Without the benefit of his greatest asset- his cool and calcualting mind), guess who wins

Lucifer recovers very shortly afterwards, and this is after Lucifer was weakened beforehand, and affected by the unravelling of creation and biding of his own creation to the unravelling at Yggdrasil's roots, and he was hit by a sucker attack by the incredibly powerful child of the Basanos earlier [that didn't affect him].

Lucifer vs Fenris the Wolf (Round 2), while being later backstabbed by The child of the Basanos (Who was even more powerful than the original Basanos) halfway through the fight .

It should be pointed out that for all his combat ability, Midnighter is still scared of Jenny Sparks.

He'd probably be in trouble against some of the other century babies as well, especially Elijah Snow, who is probably one of the Wildstorm universe's most devious bastards.

Not scared, just cautious

Also Jenny Sparks and the other centruy babies are very powerful and dangerous, Elijah snow freezes people from the inside out for example.

He was apparently unable to kill Jenny Quantum when she was holding back, but considering the fact that she had to put real effort and some power into holding him back, considering that she's roughly equal to the doctor (I.E Reality warping, plot device).
Him actually giving her trouble is a serious feat in itself, same as, say Hawkman giving Superman a tussle even for a short time.
