Actually Horus, Set, and Bast specialized in Warfare.

Funny Bast and Set are sister and brother....

Well, since we all know a P-90 or two will do in an Egyptian god... :D

The Egyptian gods don't impress me a great deal. I'd give it to the Norse if nobody else.

I don't think any would succeed over the other since they are all manisfestations of other beings.

Personally, Horus is my protector, so I can't say anything against him.

Who are the Vedic Gods?

In any case, Yahweh, or God, as we prefer to call him, wins. Not only is he able to call down huge storms of fire and brimstone to wipe out entire cities and nations, but if he enters the fight, since powers, doctrines, or beliefs(myths, if you're a godless, evil heathen) are assumed to exist, and thus, cancel out all the other Gods, because There Art No Other Gods Before Him.

Early Hinduism. IIRC, Indra, Vishnu, the ones from the original polytheism (pre-Brahmanic reformation)

Actually, that doesn't necessarily cancel out the others. The exact quote is "thou shalt worship no other gods before me." This actually presupposes that there are other gods, but they are not to be worshipped, in a more henotheistic sense rather than a monotheism (there are other gods, but do not worship them).

IIRC, it is implied throughout the Bible that these are all false gods. Elijah and the prophets of Baal, etc.

And hey, see Exodus- God's already beaten the Egyption Gods once.

Your right, though He is a Chaos/Trickster figure, who can defeat gods by himself. He tried to become a god himself, by finding the lost "Sutra" however Buddha tricked and beat him.

He did suceed in defeating all of the Vidic, and Chinese gods.

I might add that Osiris was killed by Set(seth setesh etc.) when they were both human.

And you're all STILL overlooking the badass Inca and Aztec gods. You know? The ones where the gods of sustained peace needed to have human sacrifices twice a day? THEM's some guys who would steamroll most pantheons.

Did you know that according to egyptian mythology, the universe came into being when Ra jerked off? ::grin::

Aztec gods didn't so much demand sacrifice as their people voluntarilly did it. According to aztec mythos, the Aztec gods killed themselves in order to recreate the universe another time. So the aztec wanted to ensure that the universe would continue to exist, so they took the burden upon themselves.
