Red Dwarf.

It's from the Series 5 episode where Rimmer goes insane from a holovirus.

"Mr. Flibble's very cross."

Doesn't DW go through and delete inactive accounts (those with zero posts) every so often? Haven't we broken 900 users a few times now?

I don't think he's done that yet.

Speaking of Red Dwarf, I only have two tapes and I have no idea when PBS shows it anymore.

I taped the entire series up to Series 7. In Iowa, it's aired every Saturday night.

I remembered a thread where folks were talking about what happened when we broke 1000 members because the member count was getting pretty close. The next day or so, the member count went back down to ~836.

My PBS had Season 8 on TV last Sunday.

Oh, and Season 1 is out on DVD in Britain. And Season 2 is coming out early next year. Thought you might like to know. :D

Seriously, I'll try and be an intelligent poster. And certainly wouldn't do anything so stupid like suggest the dwarfers, or trek could take on the empire and win. With hex vision no less (rivaled only by force lightning in coolness valueIMO)
I have ther Red Dwarf dvd, its pretty good. Although the animated easter egg commentary is taken from the 'Six of the Best' CD.

Yes, but without Uncle Arnie to fry us alive with his hex-vision, we're free to be naughty boys who've been naughty.

POKE!

Welcome aboard, Mr. Flibble! I am the SDnet unofficial ambassador type guy so if you have any questions feel free to ask me. Actually, we're all willing to help anyone new, so I guess I'm not needed. (snif)

Seriously, you're off to a good start. It's so hard when people show up and say things like, "Well, Dr. Quinn the Medicine Woman could whup Darth Maul's ass!"

Sheesh.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!
