Which world if you could warp to one would you choose? The next 20 years of your life would be that location.
Star wars universe. All physics in the movie are carried over. Origin upper levels of Corusant. Odds in having force powers are the odds in which typical star wars humanoids are born with force powers. YOu can pick the time frame from episode 1-6
Star trek universe. All physics in the movie/show are carried over also. Origin earth. You can pick time frame from TOS-Voyager.
Neither. Or woudl you just like to stay here in the 21st century earth and surf stardestroyer.net.

No matter how bad the Empire can possibly be, being on a coruscant tower means I get to live a life of pleasure and privilage. I won't give a damn about politics, because I'm busy relaxing all day and flying cars that fly.
Being on Earth, in TNG+ Trek means I live in a communist dystopia that enforces PC laws with force and reeducation. Also, to get to work in space, I'd have to be killed daily and re-assembled. No thanks.

During the time of the Empire the focus of galactic life was shifted even further onto Coruscant, meaning that it would be one of the best places in the galaxy to live in. (Since the increased presence of clones combined with the stamping out of a large amount of crime further increased it's prosperity).
Living in a spire would guarantee a relatively high level of living, I could go wherever I wanted to, the galactic civil war wouldn't affect me for years [as long as I didn't join any of those damn terrorist groups or rallies]
A far superior prospect that the poorly defended ST earth which gets targeted by the superpower of the season constantly.

I would choose Star Wars. EP 6.
Why would people want to live in a planet where the Empire flushes viruses into the city, places SSDs in the ground and with a Yuuzhan Vong invasion on the way ?
However, considering that your being teleported for 20 years, you might be able to die before that invasion occurs if your earlu enough.
I would prefer to live on Naboo, they dont get mentioned at all in the EU and its a relatively peaceful area. Not much chance of getting caught up in the politics of the galaxy.

The thing is, I don't have the education needed to work in either of these places. I can't read basic, I can't understand their computer systems, and I certainly don't understand Phase shiftng the warp nascelles to . . . YOU SEE? I can't even technobable right! How would I survive?
