August members of the Senate! Fellow Moderators! Our glorious and fair Admin! I wish to table a topic for discussion.

The new poster nick012000. I have some understanding a few folks see him as a Fundie, and I will certainly agree that such should be considered. However, his actions in his HOS'd thread bear special discussion. As we can see, he's apparently rather misogynistic, arrogant, and he hides behind mental disorders as a defense mechanism. He's an 18 year old virgin who claims to know more about relationships with adults in happy marriages.

So, gentlefolk. What will we do with him?

nick012000 has also shown up in this thread discussing the mainstream Christian conception of Hell, as well as in this thread regarding the manliness of staying at home, where his oh-so-informed views on marital sex have come up once more.

He's also guilty of making claims without evidence, throwing up repeated Walls of Ignorance, and adopting a debating style that combines broken-record tactics with ignoring specific points directed at him and a smarmy "I pulled this out of my ass, thus I'm right, and there's nothing you can do about it." attitude

At the minimum, he's worthy of having "Misogynist Prick" or a "Fundamentalist Moron" slapped on his ass. At worst, he urinates on the debating rules, contributes nothing, and should be shown the door.

He's 18 year old puffed wanna be fucktard. Personally showing him the door can only be an improvement then listening to his half assed bullshit or his one note spamming(and I do mean that...look at his post record, and note how much contribution he's done otherwise).

Twelve hours later: There's no reason to keep him around. At this point, his idea of evidence are testimonials from a self-help site, and a link to a thread on a webboard which hurts his case, rather than supports it. Rather conveniently, he has to go to class, preventing him from supplying any real evidence. Now, I suppose he may actually come back from his class and wow us with those journal articles he says his university has, but I'm only holding my breath because the thread has completely degenerated into a circus of image-spamming me-tooers and vultures, and our buddy nickX = rand() % 10000 + 1; seems much less interested in debate and more interested in trolling.

Let's just ban him and let his entrails be a warning to others.

Has he clearly broken any board rules, or is he just ignorant? This would make the difference between a title and a ban, since bans are normally handed out for people who are dishonest, careless, grossly offensive, or mindlessly repetitive. Of course, he would seem to qualify for two or three of the latter.

Edit: To be clear, I'm advocating a title. I would judge his crime as being ignorance.

He's not just mindlessly repetitive, he's willfully repetitive. His debating tactics involve repeating the same points over, and over, and over again. In the same form. In spite of the fact that they look like they've been through a day of Marine range practice. He also chooses to ignore massive numbers of specific points made against him, and produces banal boilerplate replies that half-assedly address a handful of points, while continuing to insist that he's right and the rest of us are wrong. He continually evades providing concrete evidence beyond testimonials and his own say-so.

Furthermore, in the other threads he's participated in, it's clear that, when questioned, he isn't interested in discussing a point, or holding a debate. Instead, he merely wishes to preach be it from the Gospel of Saint Nickstupid random number goes here or from Christianity as encapsuated in Chick tracts.

Never mind that the mental condition he tries to use as an excuse is Asperger's, which is shared by several other people here, e.g. Nitram, who is on the mod staff and has no problems dealing with the real world.

Then there's the fact that when I PMd him and asked him to remove the pic he had posted in the sticky thread in ARSE, I also gave him a few pointers on why he should watch himself, because people would (correctly, as it turned out) be predisposed to regard him as a moron just on the basis of his user name. That was right before he started trolling the shit out of the gift thread and ended with the 9 page dogpile in HoS.

There are redeeming factors for him. At all.
