In the ROTJ novelization where it describes the composition of the rebel fleet prior to entering hyperspace, one of the ship types mentioned is "Corellian Battleships". Could this be one of those?

Would make it really small if it was. Some believe, oh what's the point, we all know who thinks this, that the CR90 corvettes was what the novel talked about.

When the very first film mentions Corellian ships bigger than bulk cruisers (themselves 300-600 meter long).

Wonder what its like in Hodge's backyard, the clusterfucked TFN Literature boards...?
I certainly can't stand it anymore...

This is the guy they want to use to win over "young people?" Are they completely daft? I'd rather vote for a pile of shit than a Jesus freak social regressive.
Here's hoping that his political career goes down in flames and, hopefully, a hilarious gay sex scandal.

How bad is it now? I remember reading about an "analysis" group called "fleet junkies" or whatever, who were debating and profiling () various types of warships. (Mostly wanking off to NR and smaller-than-Imperator-type ships in general).

Seriously, I don't understand the constant accusations that the TFN lit board is a hellhole. McEwok isn't taken too seriously over there-- he's generally liked, but lately every time he comes out with a theory everyone either groans and snarks about it or ignores him. There are a couple of people whose opinions I don't care for and a smaller few I don't really like (I won't name names), but overall I see it as the best Star Wars forum out there. The biggest nuisance are the so-called fandalorians, but they've either mellowed out or disappeared in the past couple of weeks. The only real issue I have with the forum is the policy toward VIPs and such-- any sort of criticism is tantamount to flaming in most people's views. That's why it was great when Traviss & Kaufman left-- the other VIPs are either much more receptive to stuff or at least acknowledge that it's possible to dislike their work. Plus there are a couple who are really hard to find fault in (Pena, Corroney, and Wallace come to mind).

Are you sure? Every time I've looked at a thread there, people seem to take him almost too seriously, buttkissing all the way.
Is that supposed to be taken as some form of irony, then? I sure know all those smilies Hodge likes to use would drive any debater crazy.

Trust me, while he's well liked for the most part he's not taken too seriously. You may be thinking of the threads where he announced he was 'leaving' and where his VIPship was announced-- they were full of praise and such, but those sorts of threads always are.

Yeah, I saw those and cringed, but there were others where I got the impression they took his ideas more seriously than not.

Naw, not really. The only one that gained any real followers was McEwok's "Marakin" theory (which posits Mara Jade & Anakin Solo fucked sometime between Dantooine and Yavin, and that Ben might be Anakin's son). Just recently he came up with a real knee-slapper in the "Fleet Junkie" thread-- that we should count Star Destroyers in base 3 or something similar (no joke) and the Imperial Navy only had about 15 or so. Everyone rolled their eyes and ignored him. ;)

WTF?! wasn't Anakin Solo in his late teens at best when he died.
