Attn Mac heads : MSN clients

I'm looking - actually, someone else is looking, I'm just trying to help - for a freeware, msn-compatible, Mac OSX IM client with, if possible, these features :

* Display picture
* File transfers
* emoticon support (default MSN emoticons, everything else's a plus)
* Idiotproof installation, setup and use

So far I've found AdiumX and Fire, but obviously I can't try them out.

What should I recommend ?

Mercury Messenger. Just started using it on my Ubuntu installation today to replace GAIM for MSN support. No complaints so far, better than aMSN.

I use Fire. Does what it says on the tin. I don't use display pictures though, so I don't know if that works.

That can depend on your machine and what version of Java. Right now, my system is running as fast as ever and I have Azureus running, Firefox, amaroK and Mercury Messenger, and it's only 300 megs or so of my 512 in RAM. When I get a mid-life upgrade for this PC, it should be absolutely negligible.

Adium. It's got pretty good MSN support, and it's light-years ahead of Microsoft's own MSN client.
