What's the highest Windows pinball score you ever got?

Post by Uraniun235 »

I know it's technically "3D Space Cadet" pinball or something like that, but I had to call it "windows pinball" so that people would know what I was talking about and could fit in the thread title.

Anyway, I recently popped 15.6 million, which is a new high for me.

Holy shit, 15.6 mil? I think the highest I ever got was about 1.5 million. Then again, I don't play windows pinball that much. :P

I got into the trillions once.

The ball got stuck in an infinite loop in the top left quadrant and kept doing the same series of bounces over and over and over. I left it running overnight and came back the next day to see what the score was...

It's been years since I've last played that game, but I think my highest score was somewhere around 9 million.

And is it just me, or does anyone else consistently score 80-90% of his points in the first ball? Everything after the first just seems cursed to me.

I recall like 56 million before. But that was in like 4th grade, before I had other, better games to play.

Absolutely. The momentum always seems to fade away after the loss of the first ball.

I've gotten in the millions a number of times, although I don't think I ever broke 10 million. In any case, I don't have the scores with me, as I've reformatted numerous times since the last time I played.

I think my highest was around 16million, back during high school when I was bored.

The highest I can recall getting was about 25 million, though that that was a few years ago and I might have mis-remembered.

I tend to focus on completing quests rather than hitting jackpots. Not sure what the most effective way to earn points is.

Missions are easily the most effective way to rack up score.

Jackpots are pretty weak.

A tad over 16 million. Was a long time ago though, nowadays I barely make it to 4 million.
"Death before dishonour" they say, but how much dishonour are we talking about exactly? I mean, I can handle a lot. I could fellate a smurf if the alternative was death.

Since someone said something about it, I decided to go play and give it a shot. I was kind of disapointed with 25million, but since everyone is saying lower scores, I guess I did good.

Somewhere in the vicinity of 13-14million. It was during my second deployment when I oft had hours with nothing better to do.
