Yes, we are indeed refering to Master of Orion 2, one of the best computer games to date IMNSHO.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:I believe they are refering to some sort of computer game titled Masters of Orion 2. Anyway, Phongn is lamenting that his CD is scratched beyond the maximum level of readability.

I may go grab one from the mall later and attempt to repair it.Emperor Chrostas the Crue wrote:There is a device that polishes most scratches out of a CD. Look under "repair damaged CD discs" google search and at least 3 will show. I personaly own "disc doctor". It is well worth the 15$(USA), as one game dics is usualy at least twice this price.
Phong, Contact me via AIM if that don't work...phongn wrote: I may go grab one from the mall later and attempt to repair it.
I'm pretty sure that magnetic fields don't damage Compact Discs.DPDarkPrimus wrote:Setting it anywhere near stuff from www.wondermagnets.com .Spanky The Dolphin wrote:How does a CD die?
That depends whether the damaged part is actually the layer that stores the data. This stuff is good for fixing the surface, just scratches in the plastics won't do anything to the information stored, but it might make it hard to read.Emperor Chrostas the Crue wrote:There is a device that polishes most scratches out of a CD.
