Oh, I drew a version of this. I'm not much of an artist though. Plus, I can't draw guns well, so I omitted the turrets.

Larger version

[edit]Actually, it's a different version. It's a modified from the above because it looks a lot more like a Venator. I just got rid of the bridge b/c I like the more streamlined look.

Avast Junkie! You be a fare artist with the pencil there! Looking at that I ger a much better feel for your ship. Looking at it, it looks like it could be a good 800 to 900 meters, the sides in the back would be a good place for the "big Guns" and I could see this as maybe a more enhanced version of the older Victory,

Yar. My pencil-drawing skills are no match for thee, sir.

And I still think it looks a lot like a descendant of a Venator-style hull.

Leftwing, that is one huge star destroyer. Gj on it, as I absolutely suck at drawing on MS paint.

Also, thanks for the comments on my drawing :)

My humble addition, though no where near done.

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

No I wouldn't say that that SD wasn't that bad, yours is way better than mine and not to mention you do things with pencils that I wouldn't dream of doing. Regardless we haven't got anything on einy *turns green*.

Thanks Leftwing :)

Actually, I figured out a way cooler SD design. I'm gonna transfer it to my comp soon.

That's a pretty innovative design, but a bit weird IMO

Here's my newest.
Careful, it's large.

Nice, but about how long is it?
What did you use again to make it?

Junkie I really like your new version!

I like the way you have 'filled out' the more open parts of it. It looks a lot more 'beefy' now. I also like the new colors and the Republic Redhighlights you gave it.

You still have a problem with turrets though. Again the majoirty of your big guns are all on the edg and away from the Center of Gravity. At 1700 meters, bigger then an ISD, I'm not sure it's fiesable with such ultra powerful guns.

I still think that the ship would do well in a 500 to 800 meter long "Light Destroyer" roll as a patrol ship for systems. That way the Turret Power would be dialed down such you could keep the layout of them.

It's about 1700 meters long and I used Photoshop to make it.

Curse my love for large guns and Star Destroyers. I wanted to make a Star Destroyer and (insert deity) help me, I'll make a feasible one dammit! :)

@ Crossroads

I guess I'll cut some of the farther turrets out. I'll keep the 4 near the middle though. I can't live w/o my HTL fix. Thanks for the input.

well its supposed to be a star destroyer but wether its imperial is another thing all together. I really was only fiddling with new ideas and I really didn't think about the specifics that much, basically this one is a sort of battlecarrier design . I was more thinking it could be built for a seperate faction or something. Anyway im nearly finished my other design.

Hmm, I'm trying a new design where the keel sweeps down from a traditional looking wedge hull into a point with a bulbous part, a la modern sea going vessels.

And here's my old Annihilator Heavy Star Destroyer, based on the Allegiance hull. It has uprated engines and a hugely enhanced weapons array.

The second ship is the Anti-fighter variant, with the third being the base Allegiance-class HSD.

einy stop posting your making us all look bad. :P

[img=http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/1843 ... 2if.th.png]

here I haven't quite finished and im not quite sure what im going to call that massive weapon thingy on the end of the ship yet. I think I might make this ship a battleship/troop carrier. I'm also yet to put on the lighter guns.
