Songs Bad to Just Hear but Fun to Watch

Post by Guardsman Bass »

Are there any songs that you don't like listening to just as a song, but are enjoyable to listen to when they are in a music video, or even a movie?

An example would be a music video I saw at Gold's Gym, "Cradle of Love" by Billy Idol. I don't listen to it just as a song, either in my car or at home, but it was a fun music video watch (particularly when you are running on a tredmill).

Strangely enough, "Slim Shady" by Eminem. I just really enjoy that video, even though I hate anthing post-1990 except for Radiohead.

I always thought Michael Jackson's Thriller was a kind of lame song but the full length video was cool. The shortened version wasn't bad either.

I think I might have only heard Green Jelly's Little Pigs played once on the radio but the claymation video got played quite a bit back in the early 90s. It was pretty funny.

The Wall, by Pink Floyd; well minus the lameness when just listening :)

Here's some other ones:

"Breaking the Habit" by Linkin Park. That music video was pretty cool to watch; they animated it.

"Laugh, Inc" (or something like that) by the Gorillas (or Guerillas, I don't know). The song is pretty lame after you've heard it once for weirdness, but with the video it's mildly entertaining.

Madonna videos. I don't like her songs that much but I can watch her music videos all day.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either. :P

The "Die Another Day" video was pretty awesome.

That one's pretty sweet. I think my favourite is the one where she's dressed as a cowgirl, I don't remember the name of the song but god I love that cowgirl outfit.

Call On Me by some dude Eric something. As a song it sucks, it's an old 80's song on repeat with extra base. But in the video buttloads of sexy chicas working up a sweat. Most dance/trance music seems to follow this trend.

That new song by P!nk, "Stupid Girls". Video is fun to watch and with the song does its job well, but listening to the song itself is irritating, especially now that its played so often.
