Yes, TMNT seemed to be the more elegant of their games, not bogged down with too many complicated additional rules, plus it overall seemed to move faster than other games. The Yosemite Bear wrote:I last played it in highschool/first year of college.....
god that sucked.
I also think I enjoyed TMNT more then any of their other licences....

I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own - Number 6
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

not to mention, my insane daredevil catgirl was so much fun to play... (yes taht skilled in driving, and mentally unstable enough to actually survive destroying vehicles on a regular basis)
typical solution. ok let's all pile into my over-supercharged coustom car, and I'll drive right off the freeway at insane speeds and we will crash right through the windows on the fifth floor of the evil secret organization's Head Quarters. bypassing all their landmines, lasers, and ninja cronies in the lobby....
several sucessful rolls later, everybody but her pukes, upon "safe;u" arriving at the 5th floor.....

I know someone who bought practically all the early Palladium games including Heroes Unlimited and Ninjas and Superspies, yet TMNT and Rifts was about all that was ever played.
Regarding Ninjas and Superspies, I think most people bought that to supplement TMNT's martial arts system.

Also of note she was created by an unknown good aligned secret organization (insert Buckroo Banzai refrence), and is primarily employed as a stuntperson, live model for manga artists, partime actress in live action versions of certain manga, and part time test driver....
when not making the foot or the triceriton republic miserable....
Alignment:
unknown:
borderline pyromanical tendancies, psycholigical sadistic tendancies, inhibited by almost asmovian mind control. (short she really can't hurt people, but she likes making them think she will, and likes making objects go boom, so long as no one get's hurt.)

Hell, what I really loved about TMNT was that four-fifths of all weapons fire wasn't automatically assumed to hit its target.
It really started going down hill the instant that shot placement became a thing of the past with the removal of Armor Rating from Mega-Damage. 'Nope, no matter how well armored or built it is, any shot on the exterior will still blast a chunk out of it. Oh, and its nearly impossible to generate a miss, because bullets go faster than people'. So sayeth Kevin 'Firearms-statistics-are-for-those-with-math-skills' Siembieda.
