Ah, well. I have good news!

It's not a spider.

The bad news: It's the horrific camel-spider, explained in depth here: Link

Remember, they only viciously eviscerate and devour things they perceive. Don't allow yourself to be perceived!

Guys, I tried calling his house a couple hours ago. Nobody answered the phone. Either his parents weren't home for some reason... or the spider killed them.

I hope Uts is okay.

Judging by his current avatar, I think the only reasonable conclusion is that the spider has killed him and taken control of his account - the giveaway was that it was unable to avoid the 'put of a picture of yourself as your avatar' bandwagon that started in testing.

Ok, I flushed it down the toilet. Everything is fine here now. No worries.

...At least what I thought was the spider. Could have been a bit of fuzz, maybe.

Is this for real!?

Anyway, it looks like a common sac spider (Chiracanthium), as Darth Fanboy suggested.

Common Sac Spider Bite
The bite of a common sac spider (Chiracanthium) can be misdiagnosed as a brown recluse spider bite. Injuries develop in a similar manner but are much less severe. Reactions, such as swelling, slow healing, and ulcerated sores around the bite site, are similar enough to be confusing. If you are bit-ten by a spider, ice and elevate the bite site. Seek medical attention if the symptoms persist or intensify. Physicians will often prescribe antibiotics to prevent secondary infections. Most bites will start to improve in a few hours to 2-3 days.
Given the response here, it may possibly be something far less serious. Next time cup it and whip it out the door. Maybe poke around to see if it has its nest - a little sac, hanging around, but it was probably just looking for a home.

You should probably vacuum your room more often, judging from the vermin problems.

You could try exposing it to radiation and letting it bite you, in the hopes that you'll develop super powers.

Thank you, oh lily-livered brother-of-a-dolphin. Your shenanigans have lightened my mood to the point where I may not have to kill anyone at work today at all...
