Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's a fake.
The screenwriter for Indy IV is Frank Darabont, not Jeffrey Boam. And it has not even been written yet.
"I have no idea at this point what the movie is about,” commented Darabont. "I’m putting my faith in Steven and George – I will be their writing vessel." (From Cinescape)

still an interesting read.
Jeffrey Boam did Crusades though possibly still a valid choice script and a know it all writer of Indiana Jones the script is still great.

I would like to mention this. Jeffrey Boam did do a treatment for Indy IV. However, this does not mean anything more than a real screenwriter has written a commissioned script, which that link may or may not be. Also, the story will most likely be different, considering the age of the script and the age of Harrison Ford. The plot may or may not be similar. But it is not Indy IV just as the treatments for Spider-man that included Doc. Ock were not Spider-man.

Indiana Jones will still be played by Harrison Ford, right? I will break into a mess of tears right now if you say someone else will play Indy! No one else could possibly do it. End of story.
Mmmmmm, Indiana Jones......

Don't worry, Zaia, you'll get your wish. I saw a roll of Harrison Ford's credits, and it included IJ4.Zaia wrote:Indiana Jones will still be played by Harrison Ford, right? But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Harrison Ford has confirmed he's willing to do another Indy film.
I've also heard that Kate Capshaw (Willie from Temple of Doom) will be in this one too.

Hmm, interesting! He was the Chinese kid in The Goonies. Anyway, seems he's doing well for himself: "(2002) He is now a martial artist and working as a stunt coordinator, recently worked with Jet Li on The One"

You know how there was a "Young Indiana Jones"? Now, there's an "Old Indiana Jones"!
I was just kidding. Harrison Ford's only 60, I'm sure he can do another one.
BotM: Just another monkey|HAB
I am not happy about the very concept of Indy IV, becasue I do not want Indy played by anyone who is either a)not Harrison Ford, or b) 60.
Not happy at all.

For one thing .... what the hell's a Cthulhu?
Harrison Ford is TOO OLD. You cannot have a 60 year old Indiana Jones. It's just not on. And by the time it starts filming (2004? 2005?) he'll be even older.
Just leave it at three. PLEASE!
Why don't George Lucas and Steven Spielberg cooperate on something NEW.

Cthulhu is a suck ass 'god' from Lovecraft's mythos. He's not that tough, he just has really good PR. If you want to worship a real god, go here.Vympel wrote:For one thing .... what the hell's a Cthulhu?
I don't think it's automatically going to suck cause of his age. They could pull it off, but they have to be careful. Get a good story first. I like the Cthulhu angle, but that could just be me.Harrison Ford is TOO OLD. You cannot have a 60 year old Indiana Jones. It's just not on. I just hope he doesn't end up with some 20 year old. If Kate Capshaw is back, that would be great. Barely a decade's difference. As for Harrison Ford: As long as the guy's got a bigger chest than waist and is handsome I'll sleep with a 60-year-old ANY Day of the Week!

Of couse, this is getting off-topic, so it probably should be broken off into another thread. Probably in the SLaM section.

Oh yes, you most certainly CAN have a 60-year-old Indiana Jones. No one else could possibly play him. Besides, Harrison Ford is still one of the sexiest men on the planet, regardless of his age.
