I'm not asking whether it exists or not, I'm just asking if an infinite amount of energy or force that only existed in 2 dimensions of space-time were applied to a 3-dimensional object would that object receive any damage or effect from that 2-dimensional plane of energy?

What kind of energy or force ? An electromagnetic "energy blade" would cut off your arm by disrupting the bonds between atoms; a weak or strong force "energy blade" would probably ghost right on through.

Electromagnetic, if you need a specific one. But I'd prefer it if it were all forms of energy at the same time, just so we don't discount anything that's powerful.

How do you get infinite energy of everything? It makes no physical sense.

If infinite energy does exist, than the basic laws of physics would break down and reality would cease making sense. There is no equation and no law of interaction reguarding infinite energy. Infinite can't even by treated by traditional mathmatic tools as it could collapse the number system. (1+ infinity = infinity, -> 1=0) There is some ideas on how do deal with things without upper bound, but that is not exactly "infinity."

As my math teacher once said, infinity is where parallel lines cross (metaphorically) and throw out terms like that on physical systems just make things go crazy.
