Question, does nVIdia have any tempature logging tools? While i've finshed dealing with the tempature issue by just opening the side door and bringing in a house fan, it'd be nice to have.

nTune is what I use for temperature logging. If you're not using an nForce motherboard, it probably won't work. A link at the bottom of the page has a list of compatable motherboards.

Theres one built into the driver itself.

And by the time you've exited out of your game, your GPU can be a lot cooler than it was under load, especially with good cooling.

Exactly, thankfully it alt-tabs quickly but I still can never see peak tempature, a big problem trying to diangose my Galciv2 issue.

So I take ithat nTune won't work for you? In that case, you can also try SpeedFan (although I'm not sure about its GPU support) or Samurize (which I know will track you GPU, but was a pain to config the last time I used it).

Are you trying to use the whole suite, or just the monitoring program, because I think the monitoring program is easy to use (so long as the log file size is 100k).

Speedfan has a temperture log feature. And it logs more than just the GPU temp. It can also log the CPU, ambient, and HDD temps. It can be a bit tricky figuring out which is your GPU though. As an added bonus, if you have BIOS controlled fans, it can also control those fan speeds.

I fixed it! It ends up, it was.. my 3D Sound Driver that was causing the bug, and now Plasma Pong (my test case) works perfectly. I played to 27 of the new 1.2 version withotu a crash, so that means I'm fine.
