I guess i'm the only one that read all that and the most exciting thing in the article was hearing that David Hayter was writing a script fore Watchmen. When did that happen? I thought they had Paul Greengrass up to direct, but then it got shelved again?

If that is right, then I hope Greengrass comes back to direct it. If anyone can pull it off without making it into a camp superhero story which has some slight real-life issue addressing within, then it's him.
I wonder why you even like the games then. Gameplay is one thing, but given that gameplay revolves around the story, it's hard to dislike that without ruining the whole experience. Personally, I see nothing majorly wrong with the directing and only parts of the dialogue can be iffy.Vympel wrote:
Michael Biehn. One of my favorite relatively minor actors. Also played Hicks in Aliens.
Anyway, I hope Kojima stays the hell away from any writing and directing. He's not good at either. He makes good games, but the cinematics are contrived, uninspired, Jerry Bruckheimerish Michael Bay style abominations, and the dialog and preachiness is enough to make your brain leak out of your ears.

Link?Kojima-san relieved us somewhat a few months back by saying Boll would never get his greasy, money grubbing mitts on this franchise,
