What will you be buying?

I'm pre-ordering the Wii on the first day I'm able to.

Then, once the PS3 drops significantly in price, I'll probably be getting one of those.

For sure? A Wii. My friend will get an X-Box 360 eventually, and any games I'm interested in playing I can just play with him with his machine, so that doesn't matter. I'll get a PS3 in the same manner I got my PS and PS2; I'll wait for not only a price drop but when there's a bunch of them to buy used. This has worked well for me as, so far, both my PS and PS2 work as well as they did when I first bought them. No problems, ever.

With E3 over and alot more infomation on the consoles now avalible I was wondering what, if any, of the game consoles do people intend to buy?

None of them. I'm not so easily influenced by flashy ads to gaming consoles.

I wasn't going to bother with any of them, and spend the money on suping up my PC again, but after all the hype, I might get a Urination, especially if there's a new Mario coming out on it.

I already own a 360. The Wii will be next.

Then I'll have one console for pretty graphics, and one for creativity and a Wii bit of happiness. =)

The others? Sorry a FFXIII kinda, maybe...something and MGS4 do not have the pull to have me seperate over $700+, and nothing on the 360 interests me in the near future.

I'm gonna go with the Nintendo. I'm not a particularily hard-core gamer as far as consoles go. World of Warcraft is my game of choice. But occasionally when the grind gets to me I like a bit of cheap mindless action and a wide variety of games. The Nintendo sounds perfect for this. In a few years I may consider the 360 or the PS3 but it will depend on how good the catalogue for them are.

If I were to get a console, and this is a big if, given the last console I owned was an Atari 2600; then it would be a Nintendo. If only for the access to the classic NES titles that I played at neighor's houses and so on. Otherwise, where's the "consoles are lame, I'm upgrading my PC/stereo/home entertainment system/pimping my ride!" option?

All 3. Already have the 360, Rev is definitely a pre-order.

Still debating on if I should order the PS3 first day, or wait for the first price drop. Meh. Will probably come down to the Day 1 games.

The plan is to get the Nintendo machine on or around launch time.

I'll pick up the PS3 games that I want as they're coming out; but I won't get a PS3 system until they drop the price signficantly. I mean got damn, I might well buy a new computer for that price.

I've noticed from a lot of boards that many many people want to get the Wii on launch day. Makes me wonder if Nintendo will be have enough supply. Aren't they going to try to launch worldwide on launch day?
