A simple addition of "gore" to the thread title was not sufficient. Photos have been de-inlined and descriptive tags have been given.

I don't know what to say really. That's horrific.

My mum always calls them donorcycles. One of my friends was thinking about a 'cycle, I think they're crazy.

Just as well I've got an iron stomach too, I'm eating a bacon sandwich right now.

Yes.

DON'T DRIVE SO FAST.

This may sound cold but I really can't feel pity for anyone who thinks driving 184mph on a motorcycle is safe.

just did a quick calculation and 184 miles per hour comes out as 278842 J of KE(if my numbers are correct), so it's no wonder that the guy was for all intents and purposes shreded.

The only one you're missing is a view of the smoking cycle from across the street.

I've never understood the mentality of sportbike riders. Choppers I can understand, after all you just cruise with them. But the guys on sportbikes seem to delight in risking their own lives doing reckless and stupid shit.

I remember taking a safe drivers course while I was still in the Forces and the instructor told us that the human mind does not recognise a motorbike as a motor vehicle and if you pull out to pass someone and their is one oncoming it takes longer for you to recognise on is heading towards you and react accordingly.

It's simple: going really, really fast is loads of fun. That's why rollercoasters are so popular, and the line to the Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach is quite long. The human mind is not wired to instintively recognize the risks associated with motor vehicles. We panic if we see a snake, an insect, or something that is large and muscular that has sharp teeth/claws. But the danger inherent in doing insane speeds just doesn't click. So the useage of the logic parts of the brain are needed. I think we all know how many people actually bother to use those unless they absolutely have to.

Related to the pictures: HOLY SHIT! That dude was shredded. I don't think there can be any organ donations from that corpse.

I wonder if we'll eventually develop an instinctual aversion to going excessively fast?
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

A teammate of mine introduced us to rotten.com some years back, and the image that's burned into my brain is the guy who face-planted into the wheels of his donorcycle. I don't think I'm going to click those links, once is enough for me.

I'd like to learn to ride a motorcycle and eventually take up riding a chopper for fun. But you'll never get me on one of those sport bikes. It would be a waste of money anyway--I'm much too cowardly to open up the throttle on one of those things.

I'd go for a chopper, or something similiar. Not a crotchrocket/donorcycle.

I kind of like seeing things like this once it a while. They remind me not to do stupid shit.
"The rest of the poem plays upon that pun. On the contrary, says Catullus, although my verses are soft (molliculi ac parum pudici in line 8, reversing the play on words), they can arouse even limp old men. Should Furius and Aurelius have any remaining doubts about Catullus' virility, he offers to fuck them anally and orally to prove otherwise." - Catullus 16, Wikipedia

Donor? I don't think there's an organ belonging to that human roadkill that could be donated . . . given that I could identify most of the the useable organs piled on the pavement.

Ah, it's a autoautopsy with a motorcycle.

I doubt this guy is actually going to make a very good organ donor, seeing as his innards are no longer in him. Donor organs have to be in immaculate condition when retrieved.

How did you get such a precise estimate of his body weight that you could perform that calculation with so many significant figures?

I have several good friends who ride choppers and they tell me that they ride for the sense of pure freedom that they get. Sometimes I'm tempted but then the cost of trying to get a WWII Norten makes me throw up in my mouth.

My father made it quite clear to my sister and myself that we were to be disowned if we ever bought motorcycles. He has seen several people he's known and cared about killed in motorcycle accidents. This is just another example that supports his conviction. That poor bastard was torn apart so badly he looked like the remains of a butcher's floor instead of a human being.

Motorcycles are more manueverable than cars, which means if you can avoid another car, you may be able to avoid a collision, however, no matter how good of a driver you are, all you need is some other idiot doing something you can't respond to for a collision to occur. When that happens, cars offer tremendous amounts of protection compared to a motorcycle. In a car, when you get into a collision, the first thing you hit is an airbag. In a motorcycle, the first thing you hit is pavement or steel.
Do not meddle in the affairs of insomniacs, for they are cranky and can do things to you while you sleep.
