Yeah, is it good that I'm getting better at detecting photoshopped boobs?

How about the classic Winnuke vulnerability? Sending out-of-band data to port 139 on a Win95 or NT machine caused an instant Blue Screen of Death. No warning, no change of avoiding it, until a patch was released quiet a while later.

Also, the default behavior of the Windows messenger service on older Windows versions to accept popup messages from any source. Awesome.

On a semi-related topic, I was just thinking of an old webcam screen grab I saw once... it was taken by a guy who installed an old CDC trojan program that let you take control of and/or view someone else's desktop (similar to remote desktop connection) that was around in the late 90s. They grabbed control of his webcam (hich they could actually use to spy on him) while he was on the computer and some hot girl was laying on his bed, then popped up a message that said something like "Dude, you have an incredibly hot girl laying on your bed and you're fucking around online? Get the fuck off your computer." Then then grabbed a webcam shot of the expression on his face as he read that, which I have to say was fucking beautifully priceless. Every now and then I dick around on google looking for it, but no luck. If anyone has it, I'll be your friend forever.

EDIT: Haha, found them. It was using Back Orifice...here's the message they popped up:

Here was the expression on the guy's face:

Man, those were the good old days...when people cracked systems for fun, not just for IRC bot hosts, DDoS zombies, and BitTorrent trackers for horse porn.

^Aside from the fact that they misspelled "Xavier" I still hope there's more. Also, the "This is your computer" bit is the funniest thing I've seen in a week.

This is probably the first time since I saw Rat Race where I've laughed hard enough to the point where tears started coming out my eyes.

Robot Chicken (source of the Vader phone call) is hilarious. It's probably too short for YouTube, but if you can find it, there was a double segment of Quantum Leap. The first part is Sam leaping into the body of Paris Hilton in a bathroom holding a video camera, realizing what is about to happen, and then the "Oh boy" moment. Then later in the show (the skits can vary anywhere from five seconds to five minutes or longer) you see Al in the bathroom: "Okay, Ziggy says in order to leap out you've gotta work the shaft, Sam, work the shaft!" Looks over. "Yeah, that's it!"

I can't explain why, but I laugh everytime I see her. I say we need to place her in more comical situations. =)
