Supreme Commander HD trailer

Post by Xon »

Supreme Commander E3 Trailer Torrent - 191 MB, 3:59, 1280x720 pixels, XviD codec. Same sandbox testing map & units we have seen in all the other PR material, slightly different events. Still just as cool.

And you get to see the size of the Supreme Commander's foot w.r.t to the size of a human in the opening 15 seconds or so.

:Edit: Added a link to a version which has an active torrent tracker and is legit.

Nukes. The answer to all your tactical problems :D

I love the sound track, and I can't wait to see the final product, with another 8 to 12 months of polish on it.
Artillery. Its what's for dinner.

Well, you can get torrents to work on your computer, be patient and wait in line, or be patient and wait for someone to post a non-Fileplanet link. :P

I can not get torrents to work because my lovely ISP blocks them.

You just need to turn on the encryption and change the port you're using.

Things I do not know how to do.

Anyway, just downloaded the new link. That seriously kicks ass.

It seriously does. :)

If you want to use torrentz0rs, PM me and I'll help you set it up - it's often easier to get torrents for things, there's no fileplanet bullshit, and it's even faster much of the time. A worthwhile investment of ten minutes! :)

OMG *fapfapfapfapfapfap*

The HD Trailer is so much better than the video-camera-pointed-at-screen-one-with-no-audio I originally saw.

That rocks.

Is there a same version of lower quality? It would be quicker to download, and honestly that's the only difference I'll notice.

The version I linked to is a re-encoded version of the .mov version.

It is the same quaility but better compression.

Not possible with using a lossy codec on an already lossy-compressed video :P

Ok, virtually the same quaility for a non trivial decrease in size.

And you get to see the size of the Supreme Commander's foot w.r.t to the size of a human in the opening 15 seconds or so.
Which gives a height of around around 200m for the supreme commander.

Awesome. I can already hear the HAB asshats whining about it, so I approve. It's pissing off the right people.

Why use tanks to fight, or missiles or bombers when you can lob intercontinental ballistic grenades? ;P

Obviously you do not understand the intricate nature of the HAB's devotion to the grand cause. The Supreme Commander is simply realizing the full height and glory of the GREAT LEADER to impose upon the enemy, meanwhile mocking them by making it simply a backline construction unit, rather than frontline combat.

The Mecha Hordes shall fall before our might.

Who says the Supreme Commander is a backline construction unit? Don't you remember the TA D-Gun? I will be very surprised, then angry, if the CDR didn't have a weapon of comparable power.

EDIT: Besides, they've already said that the CDR can have aircraft hangers on it's SHOULDERS.

BTW, Nice job on that poster :)
