You're being a dreamy idealist. Especially with the internet as an outlet, it's entirely possible he could hide a lot of the worst stuff from his parents. Well, at least the really sick sexual fantasies he posted. I doubt they check his computer; no sane parent in the world would ignore that sort of thing.

I've never talked to RayCav, and he was banned just a little after I started posting here, but I have that pit in my stomach that something should be done to try and help him.

I've never been in an intervention before, I wish I could help more or had some better ideas on what to do. I've talked to friends about crap, had those 'come-to-Jesus' type conversations, but they've been of the "dude, you're drinking too much" type, not a "your son has homcidal tendancies".

When He first started posting to me he complained about how his mom found and deleted all of his "Bondage Porn" images, and wanted to know if I could send him some of My links. I told him that considering my age it would be very Illegal for me to help him in that manner. I also told him to use a search engine, their not that hard...

I should have known at that point, but I thought He was just another teenager like I used to be, many, many years ago.....

Part of me thinks he should be locked up quick, before he actually does something insane, instead of just writing about it.

OTOH, he's still fairly young, and seems to be a smart and creative guy that is worth trying to save, ya know? I guess that's like saving the endangered cute bunnies, but letting the ugly toads die. But, anyone that creative (*shudder*) could surely use those talents to get better as well?

Agreed. Someone who talks to him could try and get his phone number. A reverse # look-up would reveal the address.

If I had a contact point I'd talk to him, but I don't think we even know what town in Colorado he's in or what his last name is. Does Dalton have any leads? I wonder who is closest-- I'm in Idaho, is there anyone closer?

Ray didn't actually drink the heavy-duty clog remover acid. What he did drink was the bacterial formula, which isn't so hazardous. I told him to get to a doctor ASAP.

He's certainly not the brightest bulb on the tree...
