Old movies getting new sequels.

Post by Anarchist Bunny »

Lately there have been a lot of movies pretty much considered dead that have gotten new installments or are getting new installments.

SW Eps I & II, Jason X, Indiana Jones 4, Aliens 5, Terminator 3 & 4, Mad Max 4, Rocky 6, (the very thankfully axed Afganistan war on terrorism based)Rambo 4[?], Dead Reckoning(4th NotLD from George Ramaro) and their are probly more.

Do you think this is a good idea to be adding on to universes, some times a decade after the original release, or should dead dogs not be resurected via the necranomicon.

Also which movies do you think should get this giant wind-like breathe of life?

A sequel, no matter how long afterwards, should only come about when there is a good story idea that should be told in that universe.

I would like to see another Evil Dead movie.

I totally agree with you, but Bruce is a little old now, and as far as I know there are no plans to make any new movies, but recently or soon another video game is coming out. Evil Dead: Fist full of Broomsticks.
