What Raveners, sirrah? I am merely cleaning up this messy Pirate Problem I have.

All right, now tis time for Shakespeare's unreleased play: "Khar Imperial Navy: A Comedy Of Errors" to happen. And in my own territory, too.

I wonder how they're going to get the Khar to retaliate against the Pfhor, since the Khar Imperium doesn't know where the Pfhor star systems are. Their maps are just shy of 1100 years too old to function with the current balance of powers.

[Besides one ship, that is, the Inevitable Victory Of The Great Race, which is currently docked in Pfhor-Land ever since April trying to cut bargains without alerting the homeworld that it's found them so that it can claim all the glory of the deal they'll make without any interferance.]

1. I should have been paying more attention.
2. Oh, shit.

I'll have to let them go at some point, and they'll find themselves much more popular in the home territories than they thought they'd be, I dare say.

In regards to my last post: Yes, I have been watching Banner of the Stars over the weekend.

Sorry for being away, I just got back from a long weekend at my grandfather's burial at Arlington. I'll be addressing the game with complete attention shortly.

BTW, Spyder: perhaps I wasn't clear enough, but those smokestacks are from the Crobuzon landing fields, the bases I won in the peace treaty. No constrction is happenin on sovereign quelectin territory. This is an import operation, not the construction of domestic industry- after all, the Silver Falme simply don't hve the right infrastructure for Crobuzoner factories. I'm selling cheap, cheap goods- nothing more, nothing less.

Oh ok, the impression I got was city spanning industrial bases.

That's ok, one cheesy retcon, coming up.

Edit: Fixed, I so hate dream posts but this kind of works, his subconscious would be doing all kinds of strange things to him at the moment.

Coldrock? He ordered the attack on the Stopworth Wanderer, why the hell isn't he in a prison awaiting trial (and eventual execution)? By all rights Crobuzon should be after his head.

Oh and Spyder, you can delete that you know. Or better yet, just replace the whole thing with a reply to me.

I do recall promising a neat background post to at least a couple of folk on Sunday. Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday proved to be too addictive. Then I've been busy and slightly depresed (can't write really) yesterday and today. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm well aware that I can delete my posts, thank you Adrian. I decided that the post also works as Coldrock's subconsciously growing guilt. This will hopefully be the last we hear from him, I'd rather just allow the Silver Flame to fade into the background for now so we can focus on our active participants.

On May 24 I wrote:Whee! Background post! Albeit it was not what I had in mind originally. That foreing policy post in the General Assembly will have to wait until tomorrow.

Privateers can be very useful if you wanna get your hands on foreign nav-computers.

Oh and Spyder, do what you wish, but that posts still seems a bit... dumb.
*shrugs*
I guess it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.
Unfortunately, the General Assembly post will most likely not be made for at least two weeks. I'm going to Venezuela, and while the country does have internet, I probably won't have access to it. I will be unavailable for this two-week period.

I hope you all enjoy your summer vacations!

BTW - I figured this neat trick to bump a thread without double posting. Just delete your old post, then make a new one!

Yes people, I really am effectively throwing away 1120 pts of material.

It is that time again, it's been a pretty slow month though. I'm wondering if we should push back this month's round of increments to the 10th or so.

Any opinions? Also, unspent points from last month can be applied this month, or next month, or even later if someone is considering rebuilding the Phallus. (Please Don't.)

Apologies if this is the incorrect thread, but may someone join in late, or would it be best if a new player (myself) were to wait until the next one?

EDIT: I'll read the setting, points and rules a bit more, and then PM a mod. Consider this request retracted.

There isn't much activity going on in my part of the star cluster, so sure.

If builds are going to be delayed until the tenth, consider my post delayed until then. It doesn't matter really, because I'm going to be gone until the 11th. Obvious consequence: stuff addressed to me won't be responded to until then.

I think I've had activity, but this seems to be a slow month for the Raveners so undoubtedly both of our ship-groups are lost in the Warp or something. They'll turn up eventually, just like that Khar diplomat in Pfhorville...

Hell, my diplomat vessel in Hekartes Space just completely ran through all of its porn for the twelth time, including all of the stuff the crew made themselves after the second run-through of pre-existing material. They'll be looking to start an invasion any day now.

Seriously though, the delay between us is entirely my fault, for cashing checks my body and mind can't cash. I've got no problem with the tenth.

It's just that the closest two powers seem to have dropped off the face of the galaxy.

Most of the galaxy has dropped off the face of the galaxy

Thirdfain: The trade station is seperate from the Mekidar station in a binary system about half the flight time between the Diem and Mekidar. The Diem station is little more than a storage facility/loading dock and full access to this area was given but I doubt you will find anything of interest there.
