This sounds like horseshit. Bin Laden supposedly had 20 suitcase nukes from 1998? Then why hasn't he use any of them already? New York would have been a much more "spectacular" display on 9/11 if they had used one of these. Same with Washington D.C. as well. Far easier to have managed than hijacking planes as well. And in terms of advancing the goal of damaging America perhaps fatally, infinitely more effective than flying planes into buildings.

No, if Al Qaeda had suitcase nukes or any of the other WMDs attributed by them to jack up the public hysteria levels, they'd have used the damn things by now. Terrorists strike quickly the moment they have the advantage and the firepower to employ for maximum devestating effect. That is the entire logic of terrorist tactics. They certainly would have used them against Tel Aviv and other Israeli targets if they had such weapons in their arsenal.

Regardless of the amount of casulaties inflicted by said "Suitcase nukes" they would deleiver a blow much more physcologically effective. We equate nukes with the apocolyptic chaos so why wouldn't he use them: Because he does have them!

The fact is that no government would willingly supply nuclear weapons to an unpredictable terrorist group, if only for fear that the terrorists would turn around and use the weapons on them.

Anyway, I don't believe Al Qaeda has nuclear weapons, becaise of they did, they would have used them by now. Also, they lack the resources needed to build one, no government would supply them with one, and there have been no instances where they stole one.
