I don't see what that does for anybody else, though. I think what we should do is promote you to admin on the condition that you throw Zor down a flight of stairs.
However there would have to be video proof of this enshirned in a permanent 2 millionth post thread.

Is that the one where the staff play horsemen in their respective forums for a day? Or is there another one I'm not aware of?

Oh, on a completely unrelated note, Girls Gone Wild was in my city yesterday.
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

No thanks. I'd rather NOT see Poe, Dalton etc. topless.

We have several females on the mod staff. Don't you want to see them naked?

Let's drink until we can’t feel anymore!

We could have a bizarro SDN day afterwards. Where fallacies are logical, Trek beats Wars, freedom is slavery, and nothing is as it seems.

Interesting. We should have a thread where everyone tries to debate in favor of Trek, no matter how off-the-wall or wrong it gets. :)

I'm up for Bizzaro SDN Day,
According to wikipedia, "the Mohorovičić discontinuity is the boundary between the Earth's crust and the mantle."
According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.

No, all they have to do is appoint two hundred moderators randomly from the board population. I'm sure everyone would do his part.

Or, they could make the Senators mods for a day ... . :P

Bizzaro Day sounds fun, although something permanent should be done to mark the occasion, like the idea earlier of putting the 2mil post in Announcement or something.
'Ai! ai!' wailed Legolas. 'A Balrog! A Balrog is come!'
Gimli stared with wide eyes. 'Durin's Bane!' he cried, and letting his axe fall he covered his face.
'A Balrog,' muttered Gandalf. 'Now I understand.' He faltered and leaned heavily on his staff. 'What an evil fortune! And I am already weary.'

So I suppose the two million post means a post count reset?

I think it'd be cool to reset everyones post count to zero.

Two million posts is pretty impressive. Hrrm, what to do, what to do...

Well, I'm not sure what to do, but I think the poster should receive some kind of award, choice of custom title or something, and the day it is achieved, we can hold some kind of all-board activity. I just hope I'm around then...

Random ideas:
- A say it with pictures thread.
- Mockery of stupid people who can't defend themselves (well it is part of the board motto....)
- A singing contest. That's right, you send in your own sound clips for the horror and amusement of the board.
- Lateral thinking puzzles.
- Word games.

Eh, I give up, I don't have any good ideas.

Wouldn't the 2*10^6th post ambiguous due to autodeleted threads in testing?
I forsee a slowdown in posts as we approach 2*10^6. Although... as

985 more to go, +1 :P

At 5 posts a minute, about 197 minutes left, or 3.5 hours

I wonder if anyone will be quick enough to capture a screenshot of the board frontpage at 2000000 posts.

No doubt more than a few will attempt to do so (hell, if I'm around, I might try); hopefully, someone will snag one. And as PU-239 says, there may be a slowdown in posting as the moment approaches, especially if it coincides with a normally off-hour.
